What does the mod and title say?
It says " Updating to Season 1, expect it to take a while due to the amount of changes within the scripts and my limited time. I have put the Episode 24 download links in a spoiler. " This could be an old version and it might still being updated, I do not know, I have not played this game so I do not know if this mod has been updated or I can actually use the mod as it is.

Read, there is only one version that has 24 episodes which is the OLD version, Season 1 is the new/remade version.

do you play with version "episode 24" or the one that is found on the main page of the "where the heart is?" game thread? if it is the one from the game thread than you need to wait until this mod is getting an update

did you have the newest release of th mod with " Icepick52's bugfix is now built-in. "? did you start the game without a mod onces to test if it is caused by the mod?
basically it is a parsing error of the code which translates to tthe mod code expects something after the mentioned lines but it not there. if it is caused by the mod only the mod creator can help with this

Hi, I wanted to know how far you are in the re-write walkthrough and if maybe you have a idea of when it'll be released.
Thank you for your hard work !

Speaking honestly and frankly, I have no idea when it'll be done and ready for release. I've been struggling for motivation for the past month or so, and what little work I have managed to get done for it has been going at a snail's pace because of it. I'm just gonna keep going at a pace I feel won't destroy what little motivation I have left and release it when it's done, however long that ends up taking.

Take your time, just hope you know that to me this feels like the definitive version of the game. The original dialogue just irks me so much. I appreciate all you've done even up to this point. Helps me to know that there are at least a few people who think the way I do.
