I'm clearly not against the no harem thing, but i agree that when you choose one LI (and some side chicks) in this kind of games, there may have an issue with pacing in some scenes and I do not have much time to try most possible routes in all games.
I'm really curious to see if in this game, the "discovery" will go chaos (i had some tries which where going that way around episode 19 or 20 not sure) but if I replay it when the game is over, i'll choose one girl. Probably Jenna or Katie because they are both interesting. A pity when you can't have both in one playthrough of the game due to no harem. So i'll have to choose and i'm not certain which one is the one i'd play first. Probably Jenna although i love the Katie joking.

I do not have much time to try most possible routes in all games.

I think this is where the "Start Any Episode" feature of this game will come in really handy. As far as I can tell, if you play a man-whore and go after every love-interest, the there's not much difference between scenes or dialogue with any specific love-interest before episode 19, and even then, there's very few unique routes that exclude other content all the way through episode 21.

I clearly think after ending ep21 that a walkthrough for this game would bring a lot more forme in terms of replayability.

The episode choice is a solution but when i play a playthrough, i like to see what brings up to what. Again, a walkthrough can help finding the right "episode" to start if you wanna have to most best rapport between time invested/main story differences.

Am I bad if I really LOVE the Wanda&Angel thing?

I like Monica, she's my favorite, but I just don't see how the relationship can continue after it goes public. Katie and Jenna have both made comments about the idea being "disgusting", hard to believe they would suddenly accept it. Monica doesn't seem the type who will allow her relationship with her children to be damaged because of a romance. It really seems that no one, besides Zarah, would be able to accept the MC being with Monica. I believe Elaine and Bella have also made disparaging remarks about that idea.

I don't think it's such a binding judgment....

the classic situation that is resolved with a "we're glad that you're finally so happy, despite everything"

the possible new family dynamics that would be created would be more interesting than other more quiet situations (Jolina, Angel... but also Katie and Jenna)

for now only Katie and her friends have enjoyed the semi-officiality of their relationship with MC, this makes me think that the other LIs will have this chance too, each in their own time of course

We should be locked in with any potential love interests. Unless people have made a lot of mistakes. Plus with the start at any episode feature what does it matter. Try everything that’s been my approach.

Well for me, a walkthrough "for each main + side without conflict" would be a good tool, because i like the story going from start to beginnning; i'm nota great fan of jumping "in". When a game receive a update, I either wait for it to go full and replay it, or wait to replay it anyway so that my next playthrough is a "full experience".

Anyway, i'm not waiting anyone to do this for me. The game was really fun, and I would gladly restart it when it's over. i'll just have to remember that despite all appearances, this game is not harem. And that, in the game is not clear because clearly, all is done for a harem setting (never speaking openly, having the mom and the daughters available as LI at the same step of the game, etc.).

Once i remember that it's not a harem game, then it's okay because I would pick early for main girl (Jenna I think) then just use the side dishes to get game variety and avoid boredom in sex scenes and loss of interest for the porn side. I personaly really dislike if the game goes to chaos mode and i could prevent it. Yes it's fun, but sometimes i just feels i'm not in the mood to play an asshole per accident (ie as when i started playing "harem" because the game really was promising it, then from ep 20? it became chaos over chaos).

(I'm not saying all games should have harem! I just said that when playing the game looked for all intents like a harem game until some point where I found the tone changing to a more "not harem" setting. Too late for my choices ^^').

The story is entertaining and I will gladly play it once at least to know who may be the traitor if there is one, the will thing, what happens to MC etc. but it's not really a great story either that I would find worty to replay many time more; except for the girls paths, which are varied and the girls look fine (except monica even if her looks have improved... or i have accustomed to her ^^'). And that's also okay, not all games should be "the one you will never forget playing". Sometimes entertainment is just fine and fun.

if they are too suspicious of the MC's relationship with each other, things can get... catty. We also have started to use it as a function when one character knows the MC is involved with another character (usually gets set to 99 then IIRC). As for if it is good or bad... I suppose that depends on if you want more drama in your playthrough.

I don't know... When the girls make repeated comments about how the MC with Monica is a "disgusting" thought or something to that effect it makes me doubt that they will accept the relationship "just because Mom is now happy". I don't expect "realism" but I hope that the girls don't instantly shrug and become okay with it. To me that should be the most difficult relationship to have at the end, requiring more work than any of the others, because of the age difference and the fact that both Katie and Jenna made a play for him. Which is why I wanted more aftermath episodes and less build up. At this point I feel like we've been treading water waiting for the revelation of who was the emailer and then the will reading. I want more than a single wrapup/epilogue episode. Also I find the entire Theresa "arc" pretty much unnecessary filler but I know that's just me.

The Mc with normal play takes every opportunity to be with almost every female he meets, all while keeping out of a harem realm. The games where a true harem exist has all LI in the game accepting each other into a group. In this game there has been a foursome event but that was/is not a harem. And the only one whom has accepted and encouraged the Mc to be with others is Zarha. We have arrived to a point in game where some girls know Mc is not in a committed relationship with them, some have said that’s what they want. To get the Mc, they accept others in their bed once just not everyone or the other(s) they accepted once before, they are trying to land him as theirs. This has all of them acting like Gold diggers in love with Mc. Actions that make it hard to say who is truly bad and who is good. This alone will keep the Game from having a full-on harem. Though a wishful thought of many. At best the Mc may end up with someone who will accept a limited open relationship.

Its funny how the Mc has trouble with being offered a placed to live from an email disguised as he sent it requesting a place to stay. Yet he keeps secret he is having a relationship with others from the others. It’s okay for me to scheme just not you!

MC is the Dickhead Kate called him out on from the start(chip off the old block, perhaps, perhaps new and evolved-virsion or not).
Choices of improving/evolving to be a bit better(like Jenna, Kate, Monica, Wanda, Angel, Jo, ect ect ect ect).
Could have been interesting and diverse factors had MC chance to.
Perhaps could 'be'.
However, i just don't see it at this point.
Would take lots of work to make it happen i'm guessing.
Maby consider it for a new VN at some other time and... maby not.
Who really knows.

But I'm tired of the teases in the story. Tired of your ongoing yanking about betrayal. So as great as your VN is, I'll wait to play until you're finished. I'll wait until I can read here who the betrayer is, so I can avoid getting stabbed in the back.

Pretty sure it's been an open thing for a long time that the game wouldn't be a harem fest from very early on, and just because you play the field doesn't mean you are fucked (quite the reverse more often than not). Some relationships just may not run the whole course of the game if you get caught fucking around, although some could, and it is very possible to have the MC be a player, but stop short of really committing to a woman (or several) while still having consensual pre/no commitment sex (not with all the girls, and many will rightly assume that you want more when they spread their legs, kinda like real life).

Primarily the ability of the MC to play the field and be able to lie about it for so long was more than just an immersive choice, but a design choice so people who wanted to see the majority of content wouldn't have to juggle a dozen saves on different playthroughs (some did that anyway). Since the conception of the quick start though, that is less of a concern, but we did set a precedent, and for a game as long as ours, I think having an MC who can screw around even if it has consequences in the future if he plays it to the end was the right design choice.

As for the yanking about betrayal, we really have been ready to move on with the main story for awhile, but we had some imbalance in the side stories we needed to tie up. We have only a few more prominent side arcs to go (which are near completion) so the main story should be moving along as well. It's a balancing act between that and not seeing the same characters all the time and it's not as easy as some people think.

As for the possibility of betrayal in every relationship... I suppose that depends on your definition of betrayal. I also guess the mystery aspect and all the clues we meticulously throw out along with the red herrings aren't for everyone. And I can confirm there is more than enough to deduce the mysteries at this point. You are also making an assumption here I want badly to correct, but since it involves a possibility I haven't seen anybody here come up with yet, I think I'll just leave it as a surprise and further tease lol.

Seriously though, I am looking forward to the entertainment value of what happens to my man-whoring MC in episode 22 and I expect to take full advantage of the Start Any Episode feature to continue the game after I experience the expected "bad endings."
