What I would lie to see here is this story completed to finish first then go back and rerender and animate wherever needed if that is what the dev wants to do. As far as current standards of render and animation go, how could you ever keep a huge game like this one that's been in the works for over five years or more up to those standards without endlessly remaking it completely?

Well not exactly. It doesn't have to be every year or with every iteration. PS2 game need a good remake but you can play PS4 games without even any upgrade. What I mean is, proper remake one time would go a long way to be enough. Then finish the game in that standard.
Like I said above; even the "better" version of this game wasn't looking good enough to me. That's why I suggested that.

The dev is reworking the dated material to take the game to go on steam, then we'll also have ep.24 which should be the ending.

In this game, pretty much every girl is a type of manipulator, but it depends on your perspective.
Bella....does seem like she could be a manipulator. Think about it, her bitch gold diggin' sister's husband kicks the bucket. What does Bella do right away: Move into their mansion and "loses her job" to comfort her sister. Then if you romance her she latches on super quick knowing there is a big ass inheritance.... Now will it end with her being a gold digging whore too, who knows. At least I don't I'm not that far in the plot.
I can say I did come on here to comment that I need a mod that lets me manipulate Elaine. That imaginary bitch so deserves to be romanced as a revenge plot fuck you. Like let me pick options to gaslight her a bit. This isn't a sexual thing, I just hate her character and storyline. Idk if I'd call it the good type of hate. Like its effective enough writing to elicit an emotional response out of me, but I'm not sure if its meant to be that way.
A plot ending with them being gold digging manipulators (well Elaine is already proven to be one to MC's Dad) could be interesting. I'm curious if there will be any interactions where the girls find out he's romancing other women. With a Harem type game I doubt so unless it resolves into threesomes/etc.
Well, seems like someone hasn't actually played much of the game. Play the game first. Also, there is no harem. lol The gold digger that was banging the dad is already known. As much I don't like Elaine, she's not known as you say. Anyway, get caught up.
Good to hear there is more plot. Only at episode 14 I think. Im really going to hate it if there is a non-happy ending where youre "cheating" ends up being found out by the main girls. I'll find out for myself though. On one hand it could be an interesting story choice. On the other hand I don't plan to play the game multiple times (well maybe once again after a graphics update). So I'd rather there not be a plot twist with a broken relationship at the end making me feel like an asshat. Lol, MC definitely is a manipulator too.
