I keep every AVN I've ever downloaded (over 1500 of them) and every save of every one I've played. For me it's not too hard, I just check and see what version(s) I already have before downloading or the date of the last save. Like this one I last played it in October and it's still stuck on Ep24. I don't give 2 shits about reworks until they catch up and pass the old content so this one gets a pass until it shows up in latest updates again next year or so.
You do you, but it'd be far simpler if they did it on the forums. Most of us keep all our saves, sure, but they don't list version numbers at a glance. And just because I have 10tb of storage doesn't mean I want to load it up with shit. If nothing else it makes virus scans and file fetching slower, so I only keep things I play regularly. I doubt most other players have that much space, not to mention all the android users that for damn sure don't.

Ah, so it's the remaster that got an "update", not the actual game. Quit taking so fucking long, I just want to wife Debbie god damn it.
The remaster is the "actual game".
It's all part of the work for releasing Episodes 1-10 on Steam, as Season 1.

You know, it would be extremely helpful if the OP in such cases had a separate "THIS IS WHAT GOT UPDATED" section for the links and such, or at least adding "Updated on : " dates next to the actual links since the current update date thing could be anything from a fresh link to adding a missing period.

Putting the "Season 1 remaster" bullshit 2nd instead of on top without that makes it counterintuitive as far as which one people try downloading.
That's what the changelog is for.
If that's not enough, skim through the most recent pages. Sure, you'll have to dodge the usual Whaaaambulance cases of trolls and ignorant naysayers who couldn't be bothered to pay attention to news... But hey, welcome to dealing with the internet!

I'm a data hoarder. My PC has 23 hot swap bays (done to take advantage of Backblaze's 1PC unlimited backup deal, not too long to backup all that with 2Gbit/s synchonous fiber internet, my upload is faster than most single spinning drives can read), so not counting USB externals can hold 460TB (if I had all 20TB's, most are 12-16). AVNs are just a tiny chunk of that (4TB or so), it's mostly just .mkv 1080p movies (over 100k of them) and most of the time those drives are not even mounted so no need for virus scans (only perma storage is 2TB NVME boot and 32TB Raid SSD for D drive, 10-11TB of that are for a couple hundred Steam games, maybe 5TB for porn, etc). And yeah Android gaming sucks, it's why I still don't use it for more complicated games than Candy Crush or Tetris to pass time while waiting in line or something, same as the Nokia I had 25 years ago.

Oooff. Trying to remaster with the same older generation of Daz models by upscalng the renders really shows off its age. I can even spot the morph artifacts on some scenes

Yeah, but you support Braindrop. You're a weirdo.

That's what the changelog is for.
Ha! Yeah, you're funny. The changelog section isn't exactly known to be a reliable source of information in a lot of cases (when it's even updated), such as this one here referenced by stenctrum. At least it actually does list the progression, but there still aren't any dates.

Maybe it means "Version released on June 1st 2024"
Yeah, yeah but what it contains is a mystery. The naming is different compared to the previous releases, it's clearly not Ep.25, so it's not a new content update. Imagine someone waiting for episode 25, seeing the game in Latest Updates tab and then seeing something like Season 1 v6.1.2024 BETA. It doesn't say what was updated and when. For new people it could be even more confusing. This changelog is useless.

Remaster only goes up to Episode 4. Also this probably shouldn't have been released. I hate to say it, but if you ever see something that says "Beta" or "Alpha", don't bother with it.

As for the people bitching about the remaster, the art of the first half of the game doesn't match the second half, that's why. He's also adding scenes now. So stuff it. The game will get finished when it does.

I think everyone knows that, But why is he doing the remake now? Why not after finishing the game? There was some other game being finished after pretty big wait since last update, and now after finishing it, devs will be doing episode 1 remake and then will be releasing on Steam. Their approach was far better.
