There's so much convolution on these last few pages My head is already spinning. I'll just come back to check on this when it says "Completed" in the tags. Too much of a headache to scroll between those who want the base game and those who support remasters and the constant unsupervised arguing in the comments just put me off this whole game just like that. Just a few clarifications for folks as there seems to be some confusion (regarding episodes, seasons, etc.)
The "original" game: Currently has 24 episodes. Episode 25 will be the last episode. And then there will be some epilogues, etc. to close everything off for each character (and maybe a couple of fantasy epilogues for endings / pairings that aren't possible in the main game, e.g. Monica/Jenna/Katie). Once episode 25 and epilogues are done....the game is done. And we will be finished with this story / characters and move onto a new game.
Work on the original game is currently paused, while we work on Season 1 of the Re-do.
The "re-do" is a total overhaul of the earlier episodes (Season 1 will cover episodes 1-10) where ALL art has been replaced/upgraded, with the addition of animations, lots of scene changes, additions, plus some brand new scenes. I have already released a partial demo of Season 1 (covers about 30% of it). The purpose of the re-do is to take the earlier episodes (some > 5 years old) and bring them up to a quality on a par with current artwork. We will then put Season 1 Steam. (The current version of the game with the original early artwork is not something I would want to put on Steam, hence the re-do).
Once this happens, I hope this will provide the opportunity to expand the team and get more people involved to increase our pace to deliver the finale that the game deserves.

For those who are speaking nonsense about the dev. I kinda asked similar question and there was his answer.
I hope some people will get their answer.

Stop spreading misinformation, especially when you post what Cheeky himself said. No mention of a fucking harem there...just the bonus non-cannon Mon/Jen/Kat pairing a lot of people complained for. Anything else will be an epilogue only, not an ending.

Oh..and for the record, I also posted a discord post from Cheeky not a month ago clarifying all this....but hey, what the dev says doesn't matter eh....

What is harem in your definition smartass?? Getting every woman in the game?
Ending with multiple women isn't harem to you?
And dev mentioned about fantasy epilogue along with some new relationship pairing twist. So, I'm definitely hoping that kind of ending. Let's wait and see who is wrong.

Imma be a bit cautious with my wording here... I recall there being some talk about a "partial harem" ending which, in essence involved a general acceptance of Jenna as part of the Katie, Debbie, Lilly group. I also recall some talk about others (depending on who MC allows to stay at the beach house) being "tolerated" by one another. Now, what I am sure of is that CG never gave a definitive answer but was considering possibilities. So, the safe bet is to approach it as you say, "monogamy" is the rule, polygamy is the exception, in this story. All in all it's wait and see for the final chapter...



Jolina and Bella have some history as well as being in cahoots for the inheritance. In the first iteration of the story I didn't believe half of what they said were their reasons for their behavior and ran them on down the road. Having gotten that far in the story makes it difficult for me to even give either of them the time of day in subsequent play throughs. 'Course, that's just me.



That decision might have seemed "out of nowhere" for you but, I doubt it was that way for the dev. They gotta make a living, man. Overall this rework will have encompassed less than 6 months since the release of chapter 24 if they keep to the announced schedule. That seems pretty efficient to me and it didn't really come as a surprise since they talked about the possibility quite a lot before making a final decision.

Long ago, was Jolina whom broke the game for me .. "GAME OVER", rejecting her.
Initial Gut Instinct on interactions onward, something just didn't set correct and is kinda same with mistrust of Bella.
On the multi-life-partners, personal experience's have me jaded to VN's examples.. being to far off.

In countless case scenarios but, that's personal observations.
Even so, this title is one of the few on the top of my recommended list to others.
Just may be a top choice for others.
