I haven't played much of the previous update. I am waiting for the entire thing to finish and the mods cause I have messed up. It seems possible to be with Bella and not lose Kate but I didn't manage to do it.
Anyway, I see that the official final will be in November and that this is the beta. What changes can we expect from now to the final?
Also, what is that "season 1" thing? The way things are, "season 2" can only be with different characters in the same town or something.

Thanks for your input, but I see it a bit differently. A well-executed harem ending doesn’t necessarily mean sacrificing the individuality or ambitions of the characters. Instead, it can offer a narrative where the characters’ desires align with their feelings for the MC.OK, that made me chuckle.
I would say it's vice versa - putting a harem ending in this game WOULD MEAN poor writing lol.
Every girl has her own life goals, ambitions, and then suddenly sacrificing all this just to become MC concubine - yeah, that's what I call a lazy writing. That's what will ruin them as characters for me.
And how in the hell do you expect the game to justify all the girls suddenly staying with MC in this setting without being brainwashed, it seems like you're an expert in writing, so please, would you mind to share?

I haven't played a Bella alongside Katie path, but I am almost positive you can't get both.
Season 1 is a remake of Chapters 1-10, Season 2 is the current episodes of 11+, and then the finals coming up.

I don't think thats your decision to make. I am pretty sure the writer/creator/dev gets to decide what is or isn't part of their game. So....the fact that they say no incest means no incest. And while we are on that note I agree with the statements saying shoehorning a harem ending into the game despite the dev not wanting that would be bad writing. The dev made the game so ultimately as I stated above with the incest discussion its not up to you or me or anyone in this comment thread. It is up to the dev. What they say goes. Whining about it won't change what they decide. And if they do shoehorn in such things it won't be genuine to the original idea of it. And yeah thats just bad in general.
So in summary....its not up to you to say what anything is in someone else's game. You didn't write it, create it, develop it. So you don't get to change it to what you want it to be. You want incest and a true harem ending? Develop your own game. Simple as that.
Personally I have ideas I haven't seen in other games so I am working with my artist friend to create my own game. And that is all I am going to say on what my plans are lol

Hi folks,
Progress on the re-do has gone well over the past 5 days: Mostly finished the GUI updates and pretty much done with the art and script, with just one 1.5 scenes still to do and a couple of phone-calls (see the teaser section below for more details ). I'm also in the middle of making some edits to the stats / scoring system, so the max scores shown are reflective of the real-time max scores, rather than just the end of episode max scores, to make it easier to track your progress and the success of your dialog choices as you play through the game (i.e. you can see the real-time tracking after each decision).
I still need to apply some overall polish to the whole thing and need to add music and sfx, but in general, the end is very near. Still looking at a November release for the steam final / final version, but that's only because I want to do some promo work during the month of October, so I expect I will personally jump onto episode 25 for some of next month as the re-do won't require all of my time. There hasn't been a huge amount of work on episode 25 over the past 5 days, as Cell has been busy working on his own game (The cabin:

and as mentioned previously, I have a couple of prospective candidates to join the team and things are looking positive on that front (one working on art) and although C3nturion has a real-life job, he continues to provide great help on script editing and proof-reading.This week's 4K poll winner is Jenna, with Monica and Debbie in 2nd/3rd, so these three girls will feature. I'll post a poll as soon as this post is released to let you pick what scenario you want to see the girls in (bikini, lingerie, girl-on-girl, pregnancy or fantasy).

Because I'm pretty much done with the re-do art, I don't have much new teasers to show (want to avoid showing more from scenes that I've already teased), so the only new one since my last post is Jolina. This scene is a work-in-progress, so these may not be the final images that make it into the game (might need a tweak or two):
also, a couple of other things that will drop into Season 1 before I finish it is a chance to catch up on some of the girls via phone conversations. As there are a lot of women, and MC can only get to see some of them each day, this can mean that for some players, they can go too long without checking in with their favourite girl, so there will be some options to catch up with them (between major scenes) for a quick chat, score some extra points and to see some new images/ renders via the phone chat. Most of the work on the re-do as been on GUI / appearance and especially on music / SFX. Other than episode 23, WTHI has always been without sound / music, but after sprucing up a few sample scenes with sound, in my opinion it definitely makes a positive difference. So, as far as Season 1 goes, I expect two uploads next month. One early in the month which will be a short demo to give you a taste of how the new GUI looks and music/sfx sound. And then a second upload near the end of the month which should contain the finished article of season 1. I just need to figure out how I share this, as I don't want piracy (yes, it still happens after every single release) to ruin the Steam release (which is still planned for November.).
Episode 25: Artwork continues to progress and we are nearing the end of the second scene (Bella), with some teasers below. No script work has been completed yet, as all the episode 25 focus is on art.

The last update finished with Bella dropping a bombshell, which I was guessing would have been the end of the first season, though I didn't think there was very much left to go through till the end of the GAME< aside from a couple of ends to tie up.
So is this the cleaned up version of the end maybe, or the same ending I witnessed the last time I played this?
Edit: Question and confusion resolved, and I am adding some feedback, no more like an appreciation letter.
The moment this posted, I saw the previous one, listing all of the goodies that are happening in Episode 25 (the true end of the season I believe), and all of the improvements we can expect when purchasing the Steam version.
I have to admit, this was the very first Kinetic Novel, KN, that I checked out when I first joined this incredible group of developers, and the improvements from then till now are like night and day.
A couple examples are (I have forgotten the names of many characters, so please bear with me on this) The Stepmothers renders make her look more feminine, there is nothing wrong with the body of a woman who has had 2 children, but the renders usually show the age in the facial features, since many mothers that I currently know, work out a great deal, those signs are prevalent in their physique, so the visual improvements help with that a great deal.
ESPECIALLY with her best friend and neighbor!
Originally, I thought The Neighbor was a post-op to be honest, but it's nice to see her get the feminine make over as well.
Another is the nerdy, chesty younger daughter, and those glasses lol, many of the renders made me feel like she just stepped out of the time machine from the 70s and they wanted their glasses back lol (OH btw she was my first focus when I originally played the game btw, so I am not shaming her either).
IRL I am a very fit individual with a couple of physical hobbies on top of daily workouts, but still love my women to look curvy WHILE being fit, so in the end, a little from each sister really.
Many of my girl friends (2 words not one) are very fit, with smaller chests, glutes, and hips, while the ones I date tend to have those curves, but are still ladies who focus on keeping those body areas toned a great deal; think of butterfly's, squats and leans as being their primary focus when working out.
That is just the physical side of my attraction, which mostly falls into the Sapiophile category, you can be physically beautiful, but the mind and intelligence rule all lol.
WOW, I just went off on a needless tangent, stay focused, stay focused, stay focus...SQUIRREL!
So the new improvements are going to make the fresh playthrough, like visiting an old friend, and finding out they were more interesting and beautiful than I remembered.
Edit #2: Aside from the obvious file size, what's the difference in the two provided download choices?
Episode 24 on the top is listed at 5.39GB, while Season 1 Beta is listed at 1.42 GB?

Not the first season. End of Ch24.
It's not a KN...those involve no choices at all.
Season 1...is episodes 1-10. There will be 3 seasons on Steam. Season 1 (Steam) is the reworked first 10 chapters only (as they needed them for Steam release as the quality was shocking compared to the later chapters). Only those first 10 chapters are/have been reworked. Only Ch10 is left and they are hoping for a Nov Steam release.
Ch25 is currently also being worked on. What and how many chapters exactly will comprise Season 2 is unknown at this point but I would imagine (don't quote me) it will be 11-20 with the remaining making up Season 3.

Right, it IS a VN since making different choices DOES lead to like and dislike, so I sit corrected, AND Episode 2 is smaller since it's 10 chapters over 24.
