CheekyGimp 's October 19 post on Patreon said "I'm all about Steam for the next few weeks and you Patreon folks won't be getting as much love as you deserve this month (and the first half of next month)" and he offered refunds to anyone that requested them. If he posts a status update before Season 1 is live on Steam (scheduled for November 18), then great, but I wouldn't expect one.

Hi folks,
Just to keep you in the loop. We are still full-STEAM ahead for the release of season 1, within the next ten days (18th/19th November). I still have a lot of work to do to get everything finalized, but no major concerns. Main priority over the next ten 10 days is adding music / sfx and play-testing - I'm literally going though every single combination / path possible (which is a lot), plus a few art touch-ups as I see problems. The very last item on the to-do list is Steam accomplishments. Not sure if I will get these in... so may end up releasing the game without. Let me know in the comments if Steam accomplishments are important to anyone?
I'll be posting a poll shortly to see which of you are interested in receiving free steam keys to access Season 1 versus those of you who don't use Steam and only plan on accessing Season 1 from Patreon (so I can figure out a plan to get the game to everyone).
Below you'll see a few teasers of a very short Jenna scene I added near the end of Season 1. Originally, it was meant to be a short phone call, but I couldn't resist changing it to an in-person discussion. It's the only new art over the past couple of weeks, because other than touch-ups, art is done, so just wanted to give you a peek.
As soon as Season 1 is released later this month , my focus will switch to episode 25 of the original game. Speaking of which... Cell had to take a couple of days off last week, but as of this week, he is back working on episode 25 (see some teasers below).
Centurion continues to work with me on editing / adding additional content to the re-do and as we move onto episode 25 (and later...Season 2), we plan on getting him even more involved (in writing and art). See some teasers below that C3nturion put together for Lily.
And once we get onto Stem, my plan is still to try to expand the team further to improve our turnaround time on episode 25 (and future steam seasons and our next game... eventually)

Devs can make a lot of money off steam. I know of one dev who made more on steam than he did in years of having a Patreon account.

Personally I love it when devs get on steam as it's my preferable way to show support.

Why would anyone had to ask for it? It was the devs choice to do so to, as Joshy said, make more money of it.

Same here. I have had this wishlisted since May last year and Steam is my preferred way to play these games.

There will be at least 3 Seasons posted on steam. we are told Ep 25 will complete the game. Season 1 contains episodes 1-10. In the re-do, they have added a LOT of new content compared to the original, 16% of the total game is in season 1
once season 1 is out on steam then Patron release of ep 25 soon after.
19 November season 1 (ep 1-10) is due on Steam.
I guess it will be available here at most in a few days.
I guess Episode 25 won't be ready before early 2025.

Season 1 is a reworking of the first 10 episodes of the original game. The reworking includes a few new scenes and some reordering of the original scenes which will also be reorganized into 6 chapters (instead of 10 episodes).
