That would be a considerable amount of work for all the characters for relatively marginal improvement of a side feature not everyone uses.
Game isn't set in the USA, or any particular place really. We only try to adhere to British English as it was the standard set by Cheeky. As for customs, we have far more in common across the board than most people think, especially when you compare the UK to the USA. I'm curious what weird American customs you think we were emulating since I'm a USA native and the Co-writer.

Just follow the Intertwined or Leap of Faith threads and you'll see it every once in awhile. In Intertwined a couple people quit the game because they had to choose between two girls.
The games still have a bit more growing to do before they approach the level of WTHI in terms of people being upset at the lack of a harem. I have to admit that the only reason I like harems is out of pure fucking laziness on my part, most games don't have stories worth the time to replay them. But that's a me problem and nothing else.

I was in an unintentional way... I got to the "Cash/Girls" choice and if you chose Girls and didn't have enough points with anyone to choose one of them as your #1 girl and then a #2 then you can't advance beyond that point. Though they may have fixed that.
If we're talking suggestions for portraits, I would say have them update as character model changes. So weird to see the pale Jenna avatar after she gets her tan.
