alt.bin.games.adult is still pretty active. Where I got WTHI.
I was a minor at the time and using family computer in shared space. Doubt that would have gone over well.

I discovered the game here a little over 1 year ago, after playing AL on Steam and then searching on google for similar games (i.e. porn with realistic-looking faces). I'm very glad I discovered your game since it's one of my favorites, and Katie is perhaps my favorite character out of all this entire genre.

Usenet is completely anonymous unlike torrents and straight downloading on the internet. Unless someone was looking over your shoulder while you were browsing, They would never know what you were downloading. At one time it was the "go to" for kids because it doesn't leave a footprint on the net. The only problem is you have to pay for good Usenet service. That might raise eyebrows with the folks.

I was lucky though, my parents are a couple of luddites who needed me to walk them through logging on to AOL/Compuserve. Hiding something from them was easy... It was my siblings I had to watch out for, they were a couple of tattletales.
I found the game from a comment on Adult Games On (they had a list of best adult games from 2020 and in the comments someone said this game was missing)

Don't really know anything about Usenet, do remember playing MUDs via telnet and Pueblo though.
I was first on local BBS's and playing the Legend of the Red Dragon (or whatever it was called). That was the first adult game I ever played... IIRC it was also multiplayer.AOL/Compuserve.... Man that's really going back to the beginning
Had so many AOL discs I could have made a giant mosaic out of them. LOL

Haha. I just checked out that site. They really need to hire a more experienced AVN fapper to evaluate their top 10. lol I could maybe agree half the list belongs there. But to miss games like ours, COBD, Sisterly Lust, Tales from the Unending Void, or half a dozen others that are all in the running is pretty sad.

I think it was ULMF I first heard about this, either here or Reddit because I was scraping the barrel back then.
Anyways, it was months before I even knew about this site, I didn't come here until later that year.
I was looking for more stuff along the lines of the Elsaverse tales and that led me to WTHI and eventually here.
My google-fu is failing and I don't know the site but am interested in the list - for high-brow perverted judgement and research purposes.

So far it's very much the usual. Now that we have things going at a speed and quality we are happy with we are looking at options to increase our exposure/interest. We know the belt is tight for some now and the state of the world isn't ideal for crowdfunded projects, but are happy we make a little progress each release. This next one should be pretty solid as it will add some long awaited things we are all looking forward too.
