I have run into a problem whilst downloading the new update from the links provided. Is there a way to update my current version that i have installled? I was using winrar to unzip btw

I have never had a problem with 7-Zip in all the hundreds (literally) of times I have used it. It's free and faster than the PeaZip I had been using.

This is usually solved by using the latest version of WinRAR, or by downloading the file again, I would suggest trying WinRAR first as it's a smaller download.

Found the problem...apparently when you install lain mod, this imagery is deleted. So, I went back to the original download of WTHI, found the missing imagery in the E11 folder under "game" folder and copied to the lain mod...works like a champ...thanks for your help

If using my merged mod you don't need to/shouldn't install lain's

I like most of this game but one part. That part is you can't opt out of pursuing Monica early on.
The relationship sexual relationship with Monica isn't a requirement to the story in fact you have a point there is an option to no longer pursue it. The only problem is the make you endure a multitude of episodes with this relationship with no choice to opt out of it.

Sure I can see going on the date with her as a means to get know each other again or have be friends but damn this is beyond that it's like the author has his own mommy fetish and wants to force it on the reader/player.

I'm 50 I've never dated a woman over 30 in my life. My wife was 19 when I married her and I was 33. It helps I don't look my age. I divorced her 12 years ago. The oldest woman I dated was 31. Maybe I'm immature for my age or its the fact that most the women my age just can't keep up or they have 20+ years of emotional baggage from other relationships I have no interest in dealing with. Simply put I don't find women my age that much fun. Don't want to deal with in RL why would I in a game!

Outside of that the rest of the game and characters I generally like. Katie is closer in personality to the women I generally like dating in real life. I have 4 major technical backgrounds in RL so I spend enough time around ones like the Jenna. Most aren't that shy though. In fact can be quite the opposite.

Debbie and Lilly Remind me of two girls I knew in high school.

But I hope you know that there are a helluva lot of people who tune in for the MILF's and mother figures (not to mention actual mothers) here on F95. And you are not likely to change the minds of a single one of them.

It is also futile to try to change a developer's mind on how he/she has portrayed something that was delivered months ago. It's just not going to happen.

If you want a perfect game, you might want to write it yourself. Of course, you would then have to put up with people who want you to completely change everything. So...
