Also, completely unrelated, why do I get the feeling that the Mox assassin sent after Zeik isn't dead and it's actually Zoe, the designs are far too similar XD. The way she also says that all of a sudden most of the people that she once knew can't recognize her anymore is an interesting detail that makes me think it's her. Makes you wonder what happened hehe

3.3 did not allow me to update from 3.2. Needed to uninstall old version and install new one, and surprise! no saves were kept.

It will be annoying to speed run the game trying to catch up, at least it's not that long.

That's bizarre, the save location and filename are exactly the same as they've always been, which should be in your %APPDATA folder with the rest of the Renpy stuff, assuming you're playing on PC. I'm not really sure how any of the other platforms work, but I haven't adjusted any config settings that I'm aware of.



If you can find the above folder, and whatever folder the saves have been going to on your machine (assuming PC, again), you should be able to just overwrite the save files without a problem. Of course, I can't recreate the issue on my end so I guess this is all speculation.

The game is clearly 90% about Futa Girls, so it's no surprise that most of its content focuses on them. Of course, the remaining 10% features Non-Futa Girls, whose stories you could easily follow and interact with, but you'd be missing out and limiting yourself to the bare minimum the game offers. Of course, everyone plays how they like and has their own fetishes, but I still think it would be a waste of time to play only a small fraction of a game just because you don't like the rest of its content. Don't waste your time and find something else you enjoy.

Oh damn, yeah, sorry, I have no idea how renpy works on Android. I assume it's similar from a "the folder is named this" standpoint but no clue where that folder is or if the path to it changes.

Ehh, it's ok, at this point the game is small enough that losing a save doesn't really affect that much. Just notifying in case it's not only me, so it can be fixed.

Something that I would like is to have more interactions with the characters, I like the interactions, but outside of the story advancement you cannot really interact with them (or lewd them).

The great thing is that you can interact with all factions during the day, I was dreading an energy management that would limit how many interactions were possible in a day, but I am so glad you can do it once with everyone per day.

Maybe search for a gold sink down the line, on day 13th I am almost hitting 100k; maybe a way to sponsor factions and gain love from the girls, like investing in armor and weapons/ potions that adventurers use on your quests to increase the odds, updating and modernizing the dojo and get a cut of the profits, or sponsor and partner with the fox weapon Smith (because she needs it and needs to be added)

You're in luck! Ish. I guess. Interactions with characters through shop events has been added in the latest patron build, and I'll be doing a mid-week-same-version update (hopefully) to add dialogue in each shop, where you can ask the girls questions based on where you currently are in the story and their rank quests.

Korin's shop (blacksmith) will be added at a later date along with a few others over time, and money sinks are also incoming. In the grand scheme of things, we're still in Chapter 1 Part 1 (not for long) so there's still a bit of groundwork to lay out.

No, they don't. They never do. If it's not 'can I avoid futas?' it's 'can I change them from futas?' or 'can you recreate half the game from scratch so they are all female?'

To the dev: You should add a few more tags, man, because until today I hadn't found your game at all, even though it's exactly the kind of game I've been searching for over many weeks. I usually look for games using tags, but yours never showed up.

Anyway, I have a couple of questions:

1. Is futa-on-female confirmed for future updates? If yes, what kind of scenes are planned, like the MC only watching, a female character seducing a futa, or the MC joining them?
2. Will there be any futa-related NTR? I'm not talking about dark or heavy NTR, but something softer, like a futa or female character hooking up behind the MC's back (or vice versa), while the MC is okay with them having fun on their own.

I'm asking because you mentioned the girls won't worship the MC as their sole focus in life. I really like that they can make their own decisions and have fun even when the MC isn't around. I know some people might see this as hard NTR and disagree (which could spark a debate), but personally I don't want a game where the MC controls everything and the girls feel like servants who can't act independently.

I've only recently started getting into futa content, so I'm exploring all kinds of scenes involving it.

I really want to go down that rabbit hole but I'd need to make time for it. So I guess the answer is animation is "desired", but not strictly planned. I think once I've gotten the UI to not be revolting I'll sit down and bury myself in wan 2.2, and it should start showing up in the game once I have something worth showing. My primary concern is whether or not it'll keep the pixel art style.

Yeah I haven't updated the tags in a while but I also need to do another dive into what tags are even available and applicable.

For futa-on-female, one example is the collab I've done with Jake James, the creator of Fantasy Futanari, using one of his characters, Sethi. Those on the latest build (v0.3.4) can find the event in the "Bonus" section of the gallery. It takes place in a completely different town than Valencia (where MC is), from the perspective of a new, named FMC, Lori. That being said, it's a one and done event, and both Lori and Sethi won't be appearing anywhere in the main story.

The problem is, outside of that collab event, the entire game takes place in first person, so you don't otherwise see scenes where the MC isn't there. Thus, any canon futanari-on-female scene would be one where the MC is present and chooses not to participate, but I'd also need to make a scene where he does choose to participate, and the thought of trying to render 3 characters in one scene makes my chest hurt.

Piggybacking on that, it also means there won't be any NTR, because the MC is always present, but it's also not a harem because the girls have their own lives and will make progressions in their careers/goals without him being exclusively present. Hell, Professor Shar even has kids. Lord knows what Sherry gets up to behind closed doors.

In short, is futa-on-female out of the question? No, but it will require two separate scenes so I'd have to level up considerably before then. Is NTR on the table? No, for the aforementioned reasons and I also don't want to deal with the fallout.

Not in the sense of the word that I'm thinking in my head, no. I think of harems as games where you have a house full of women who worship the ground you walk on. That being said, I also just kind of don't play harem games so I'm not the most well versed in what it entails.

Uh...not quite? There are some like that ofc as in the writing is intentionally done to make you think that. In my opinion at that point its more a reflection of fragile insecurity. That aside the general idea is the MC has 2 or more partners that essentially agree to share the MC. If the MC is male then that also tends to mean not going off to see another dude...like you would expect your GF not to go see another guy right? Well the MC just has more than one GF and they are ok with that. If that admittedly one sided dynamic is what you mean by worship the ground you walk on then...it is what it is I guess.

Girlxgirl interactions among the girls the MC accepts is up to the dev. Some players like it, some dont, as with anything. A lot of devs just make it optional, which is usually taken positively.

The setting, story, justification around how all of that happens is up to the creativity and writing skill of the dev/author. Thats the difference between a narrative that is reasonably acceptable(because its all fantasy anyway) and one that is drivel.

Ahh. Yeah I'm definitely not well versed enough in the lore of the genre to write that. I guess in the grand scheme of things, Whispering Ledger can be summarized as "A merchant tries to make a shitton of money by building up his business contacts and supplying both sides of a war. Chaos ensues.". There's lewdity and nudity, but his first love and primary focus is his shop and growing his business. Will there be lots of sex along the way? Depends on the player. In its final state you'll be able to play through the entire game and not have sex or direct sexual contact with anyone at all if you'd like.
