maybe stheno is going to be a snake girl? can kinda see the pants part kinda being a very long skirt thing
and it would also explain the possibility that her hatred to humans comes from not only hate to her being a futa but also a "snake"

God, the gameplay is such a needless grind. I really don't care about te shop. I just set everything to market and hold back any research items and then that's just that. Could have just skipped that bit honestly.

Well, the bad news is the shop is the game, everything centers around it, and its functionality will only grow over time.

I am sorry, dev, but I just find it tedious. And after 2-3 rounds I just started to completely ignore it.
Probably not a game for you at that point then. If you ignore the shop work, you pretty much forbid yourself from buying different things that you need to progress within the game, like the Martial Art classes with Mia later on or buying things from Rat I think there were some more usages for the money but can't remember currently. I imagine there will probably be shop upgrades in the future as well, though this is me speculating

So, while the shop can be a bit of a repetitive thing, it's what the entire game revolves around for now

Huh, Stheno is the name of one of Medusa's sisters. I wonder if she's down a sister, and that's why she hates humanity. Love the art direction, by the way! You're doing great work, and I find the story enjoyable, WispDev!

Why is everyone always so dismissive? So just because it's the center of the game, I am not allowed to say it sucks? What ever happened to constructive criticism...

No worries, I don't fault you at all. I referenced something like this in my most recent public Patreon post:

The goal is that players must engage with the shop, but if they don't like it they have very clear objectives regarding how to get the content they want. Which is why Nicole's face appears next to crafting materials, and the lightbulb icon appears next to items related to shop events, as well as the expeditions and seascapes that drop said items (v0.3.4).

So basically, it's designed to where you can set everything to market, set the items with icons next to them as "don't sell", and only go to expeditions/seascapes with lightbulbs next to them, keeping your brain off the entire time. You can also optimize and make a bunch of money. Winter is Gold sinks are coming.
So while the shop isn't going away any time soon, it's meant for you to know exactly when you no longer need to focus on it if you're not a fan of it.

I like seeing this sort of shop game in the genre and the art style choice is lovely. I'm not a diehard futa fan but I'm something of an omnivore so I can roll with it. The characters are super cute! Unfortunately the cutest one is the one I forget about every time I wake up, darn it.

Tach, hab mal ne Frage:

Despite the shopsystem, I dig the art and images. Also the writing isn't too horrible either ;)

But I am not sure if I reached the end of all content yet. How do I know?

Also is there no way to see the images again? Like an album?

Gallery will be coming in the update this weekend, Saturday.

Good god.

Changelog:

v0.3.4:
  • Added the gallery, which has a bad UI but should be fully functional and hopefully not require you to make another save.
  • Added the collab event with Fantasy Futanari to the "Bonus" section of the Gallery.
    • Join Lori on her quest to prove that she's a great explorer!
  • All factions now only require 50 exp regardless of rank. This may change. Trying something out.
  • Added shop events for (almost) every character in the game.
    • These events have different requirements to trigger, and whenever you fulfill all requirements for triggering them except the required items, you'll notice a (bad) lightbulb icon next to item names that are connected to events.
    • When you've seen the event, assuming no other event requires that item, the lightbulb icons will disappear.
    • The events are just flavor meant to appear naturally as you operate your shop, so you don't have to relentlessly grind them.
  • All crafted items sold by Nicole have had their sell prices bumped up.
    • Someone pointed out that you were almost always selling those items at a loss because I didn't take material cost into consideration. Now it's always wildly beneficial to craft items instead of selling materials.
  • Reaction time vs Reina has increased
    • If you don't want to know "what that mouth do", you don't have to find out.
  • Broke a bunch of stuff.
    • This was another super technical update. There are no issues on my end, and there probably won't be any issues in brand new saves, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this bad boy is busted in some way.
  • Added icons to expeditions and scavenging locations that drop materials needed for shop events.
  • Added counter to the morning screen that lets you know how many shop events you have unseen.
    • This is based on item requirements, meaning if you have all required parameters for an event besides items, it'll be part of the count.
    • Events that don't require any items at all won't be part of the count because you'll always trigger that event the next time you open your shop.
  • Attempted to fix save schema issues for players loading old saves in this version and getting undefined variable errors.
  • Fixed issue with Korin bartering causing a bug.
  • Fixed issue with missing Tyra images in shop event.
  • Okay Brother Douglas' event is fixed for real this time.
  • Fixed issue with Professor Shar item names.
  • Fixed issue with Balae's event not existing.
  • Added another Korin event because the other event requires an excessive amount of items.
  • Added "Minimum Item Quantity" feature, which allows you to select a value of that particular item to not go under.
    • So for instance if you had 30 iron ores and didn't want to go below 10, you'd set the min quantity at 10 and batch sell would sell at most 20.
  • Added the intro shop events for all characters.
  • Added beginnings of the "Dialogue" feature, where you can ask characters professional and later personal questions based on story progression.

Okay, I just downloaded it and I apparently triggered one of those 9 events, I have no idea how.

I don't know what the requirements for them are but I still have about 8 events that I am not unlocking in the shop

Yeah once you've fulfilled the requirements they happen automatically when you open the shop for the day. From that point, you use the lightbulb icons next to items to determine whether that item corresponds to an event you haven't seen yet, and you can look at the Expeditions/Seascapes locations to determine which locations drop items that trigger events.

Old save worked fine this time. Does the gallery show only events you have seen or does it also show that there are events you havent seen yet?
If you haven't seen the event you should be able to see that the scene exists, but won't be able to actually view it until you unlock it. Should be blacked out or something, I forgot.

The million dollar question is what those requirements are, I mean.. probably rank-ups, considering I just got a visit from many of the characters already, and by lightbulb icons I'm expecting those important items to have a sort of description for a potential event, or highlight, but I see nothing.

Hmmm

Yeah, I'm not sure how to unlock these new events in the shop.

All I'm doing, pretty much, is follow the same exact routine I always follow

Send an expedition for materials, make Tyra go for materials, see if I can build any new items from Nicole.. go to the shop, sell everything, train with Mia - Buy things from Rat and investigate new areas with Balae.

I'm not really seeing any new events in the shop, despite initially seeing lots of people like Ashura, Brother Douglas, Cheshire, Rat, Mimi and probably a couple of others that I'm forgetting.

The items always have a light bulb on the side of them that is turned on, most of them anyway. I'm not exactly sure what that means either and there is no description about whether the items that have lightbulbs turned on in them mean that it's materials you need or not

If I keep doing that, the events count drops from 8 unseen events to 7. I am pretty sure that means I've lost an event

If it dropped from 8 to 7 it means you've seen an event. The lightbulbs are exclusively meant to tell you that you have all the requirements for an event, minus the items. Keep collecting items with lightbulbs next to them, and going to different expeditions/seascapes that have the lightbulbs next to them as well. If you haven't unlocked every area from studying with Balae, do that as well.

It's designed so that you can see all events just by playing through the game normally. The light bulbs go away when you've seen all events that requires that item. If the bulb is still there, you still need more items. Most events require multiple different items. Some events require crafted items from Nicole's lab. There are no plans to list the exact number of items needed for each event because they're just little sprinkles of flavor to break up the monotony at best, and irrelevant to the plot.
