Ahh. Yeah I'm definitely not well versed enough in the lore of the genre to write that. I guess in the grand scheme of things, Whispering Ledger can be summarized as "A merchant tries to make a shitton of money by building up his business contacts and supplying both sides of a war. Chaos ensues.". There's lewdity and nudity, but his first love and primary focus is his shop and growing his business. Will there be lots of sex along the way? Depends on the player. In its final state you'll be able to play through the entire game and not have sex or direct sexual contact with anyone at all if you'd like.

Someone a little earlier in the thread said he had issues with his saves not carrying over between builds on android, so I guess it'd depend on what you mean by "corrupted". It sounded like his ultimately worked, but it's reading somewhere else for the saves so they didn't carry over.

The .apk did not install the game stating the file is incorrect. The trouble appears outside the game itself. Tryed to dl it on 2 separate sources. Same problem occurred

Unfortunately I don't use mobile or have an emulator so I'm kind of at a loss. Could use JoiPlay maybe? In Renpy itself I can emulate it as a phone or tablet with no issues either, but that probably doesn't actually run the apk. And you had no issues running the previous version? I'm willing to download LDPlayer or something to test it out.

Howdy and Happy New Years to all. Next version (v0.3.5) finally continues Chapter 1 of Whispering Ledger, so there'll be a few characters to introduce!

First up is Mitsu, a hopelessly honest Raccoon Feran who is looking for new employment after being fired from her last job. Despite her constant worrying and feelings of uncertainty, she's a pretty hard worker! "Hard" doesn't mean "good", but with a bit of training she'll probably be just alright.

The game looks interesting, the graphics are top notch, I see. I wish you success, but it's a shame it's a Renpu engine.

Even if u use IA the game looks good an I for me was very entertaining, I must say that I only miss a little more content for the sheep one, only could see one of the scene but was promising, I even wanted to find more but I think that in the first chapter there are only a few of them.

Gallery mode will be incredible if you maintain this art style, There is any way to reach the scenes of your signature?

Thanks for the support! Gallery is coming in the very next public update. For now, the images in my signature are just signature promotional images, they're not in game yet.

If you're looking for more content for Balae, make sure to do her faction quest by doing enough research at the library to max out her exp. In the current version, all characters have their Rank 2 Faction Quests implemented.

If you go to her shop, once you have 50/50 exp there should be a button that says "Start Rank Event" or so next to the exp value. In hindsight it's not very visible and I should make it more obvious.


Alternatively, if you click the notebook icon thing in the top right, you'll open the Ledger, which has a "Ranks" section that if you have the required exp, you can start the events from there. The only (huge) problem is that in the current build, you can't save or open the menu throughout the entire quest if you start it from the ledger. I've fixed this in the upcoming version.

As previewed a few weeks ago, meet Stheno, your representative from the Valencia Tax Office's Business Division. Unfortunately for you, you haven't been paying your taxes. Even more unfortunately, Stheno has a vitriolic hatred of humans that she isn't shy about in the slightest. This isn't a "teehee prank time" type of hatred, but a "ruining your life makes me sleep well at night then I never think about you again" type of hatred.

Not finished with this release yet, but the game is very engaging. Good job dev. Love the humor of the shark sisters. The skyrim reference was hilarious! Keep doing things like this and looking forward to the full game! Even though its AI, the art style is pixelated which makes things less noticeable and the content and lore far outweighs it. Any chance on getting some animated scenes?

Thanks for the support! I'd love to do animation but I haven't really had time to delve into wan2.2 with my current update cycle. Then I just need to make sure that the pixel art style stays consistent, which I think will be the biggest hurdle. The alternative is making a bajillion dollars and commissioning a pixel artist.

ohhhh, interesting new characters. Think I'm starting to understand where the Mox faction might've sprouted from, considering Stheno's allegedly intrinsic hatred towards humanity .

Will be interesting to see how the story develops with the introduction of these two new faces, also a curious detail is that Stheno doesn't look like a Feran at all. Sure, she has slitted eyes, but her appearence looks mostly like that of a human. Very strong magic user, perhaps?
