I think those can work, I just think it depends on how far along they are in the 'new relationship'.
Just my opinion, not asking for changes.
I wouldn't call it being cuckqueen or cuckold. For example if they go through with a photo shoot, mc is mostly gonna watch. He may not go and pose in front of camera with fmc. And in the same story path but in a different scene, fmc might just watch mc mentoring the new intern.
