Yes, And also you should be able to mix the paths too, although that wouldn't make much sense.

The FMC in My Husband’s Boss feels way too easy and stupid. Just 10 minutes into the game she’s already fucking with the boss, which happens far too quickly and unrealistically. What makes it worse is that the story even skips over how things escalated to the 1st sex scene.

By the way, could you tell me which other two novels are in your top three?

Just looked it up again. I can''t see any contradiction, honestly. On the contrary, what he does here is - he reacts, she is taking the initiative and flirts. He does the minimum back, really and again seems naive and surprised, innocent almost. Also he is full of respect and praises her on a professional level, shows care for her wellbeing. This seems to be his normal behavior in dealing with (attractive) women. Nothing lustful or perverse or egoistical at all. He caters to them. He wants to be a friend, he asks what could he do for them, not what does he want from them.

Nice, I’ve played both of those too. A Perfect Marriage is solid, and Being a Wife is also good—though I’m not too sure about their latest update. So far though, I think this game is actually more enjoyable.

True, but in the context of that relationship that's exactly what we'd expect. He's acting like a married man would when his attractive officemate hits on him. He doesn't initiate, but also may not be stopping her advances. So I don't think this is a good example of that behavior.

However it's early enough I give Fable the benefit of the doubt in that the future will afford more proactive choices and behaviors on his part - it'll be pretty difficult to continue the Emma story thread WITHOUT him acting proactive.

There are two ways to play for this outcome. One is where Sarah hides her interactions with others from Alex, and Alex stays faithful through his own choices (route #3). The other is where Sarah openly interact with others and Alex takes a more submissive role (route #4)

My understanding is your last sentence is currently an accurate summation of the mechanics in the script - there are several checks for (if sarahdom > alexdom) and vice versa, so it's more treated as a "cardgame defense stat" if you will. I agree, it would be nice to have interactions hinged on the stat. Running with the scene mentioned earlier- I realize this is in the past but a future inspiration for fable - perhaps if Alex had low dom/high sub going into the BBQ, he just meanders while jessica, her husband, and erik chat up Sarah, whereas with high dom/low sub he gets choices to initiate conversations with others.

Based on the route 4 description, Sarah is seduced outside the control of Alex. There are then subpaths corresponding to if he comes around to enjoy his third wheel status, or is non-consensually cuckolded.

And this scenario would totally miss the point I was asking about. How does Alex's dom stat affect Sarah's actions? How does it affect whether he initiates anything with her desires or influences the direction she goes in her reactions to other characters? How does it affect his actions when encountering situations with others, does he become proactive and take more control in the relationship, especially with how he/it relates to Sarah?
Your scenarios seem to focus on whether he actually goes towards others and AWAY from Sarah, not towards her, involving and encouraging her to become his partner in adventures. Towards a situation where they are both equally dominant in their relationships with others, taking control of their combined sexual destinies, not having one being submissive, because at this point (and hopefully this really changes later) it seems like Alex only has the option to choose cuckdom or not, and maybe get some action elsewhere, if he can summon some balls somehow. Leaving the story about whether or not Sarah decides to do something or not, not whether Alex has actual input, rather than just reacting to her decisions.

And look, I realise that it is still very early on, with very few subjective choices being made at this point, and this may just be a case of "early game jitters", but I am holding out hope that this dev might actually make a goat sharing game, and not just go down a well-trodden path that I see in so many other games, where all the decisions are essentially about whether she cheats or not, and he decides to cuck or not.

Mr Fable take it as a compliment that I am concerned here, simply because of the promises evident in your path choices, otherwise I would just skim-read and move on, like so many others. This is not me criticising at all.

Work that he has already begun, and seems very well set up to continue.
Don't forget too, that "an enormous amount of work", usually leads to a high-quality, long, and ultimately satisfying game.
Surely a good objective, rather than wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am....

I don't think a game like that would do well, games are about fantasy.

There are however plenty of games on here that have the NTR tag but players are waiting an eternity for it to happen lol
