No, you relayed it correctly.... sure, through extremely judicious playing you can carefully navigate the choices; but the tone is still spiteful - it's very obviously meant to be played as a cheating sim.
We dropped the subject as it is OFF topic why bring it back lol Plus if u speak about last update,Mr Palmer said only the cheating path was updated

I used to feel this way about sandbox but some of the best VNs are. As long as there's a guide and you're not blindly wandering around looking for an event, those are the worst.
Mr Fable just a thought. Depending on how open world you want your sandbox to be.. you could not choose an mc but have icons to indicate who's event would be played at that location/time.

I'm not a fan of sandbox either. There are only a couple I can tolerate to play.

I get it, I've definitely been burned before and wasted my time. Doesn't seem like this will be one of those.

Agree, this is so far nothing like most sandboxes I've played. I just hope it stays a minor part of it.
yeah.....very minor.....
I look for the boys to fuck the girls.....not for the sandbox to fuck me, lol
If I remember well He said part story and part sandbox where u can get some pts.

I have already decided, based on dev's comments on direction, to wait for few updates, maybe 6 months worth, to actually play this game again.
By then, enough will be revealed to see whether this game goes where I hope it might.

Out of the latest batch of NTS games that have come out, it's the one I enjoyed the most and shows the most promise. I'm happy to support Mr Fable.
Oh, I will sub to this, but not until I see that that path is actually happening.
Been burnt a few times, getting wary of promises these days, and this dev promises a lot. Not saying he doesn't deliver, he does it very well, but already asking for subs choices, this early? Not encouraging....too many games go right off the rails due to subs input.....
