As long as the routes don't get mixed up, that's what's important.

I think they are going to get mixed up, if players choose to let him get involved in the sharing route. He's obviously going to try and use the information that he got from Eva against him. Act like someone who is up for some no strings fun and then work to undermine the MC. Best to stay away from him completely IMO.

It's always my fear with games like this, tbh. Let's hope the dev can pull it off.

It's more that having an NTR character on the sharing route blurs the lines. I mean, if I can get NTR'd on the sharing route, it's not really a sharing route.

The devs should do what they think right without pressure. Also there is no consensus, what an"NTR character" (whatever that is supposed to mean beyond just evil) is. And also there is no consensus what "sharing" is (cf. all these discussions about humilitation or not on all those threads).

Ok...so, Neil says in the first "episode", "so, MC is into sharing eh?" to himself, after learning that from the psycho,,err, the counselor.

Given that "sharing" cannot involve "cheating", in my view, and I assume others too? Is that your understanding?
It can't just be a matter of avoidance...

So, Neil's character will have to be a consensual partner? Whereby, he is merely placing himself as a possible sharing "opportunity" to Sarah and Alex???? With no skulduggery involved? Quite a lot of alternate dialogues, huh?

I think you still don't fully grasp how I plan to do the routes. It is not a single route that you will have to follow and what ever is there alone the path. But rather you will interact with other characters through encounters. Each encounter can take the NTR or sharing route. There will be Neil encounters, James encounters, Erik encounters and soo on. Each encounter CAN (or not played at all) be played as NTR or NTS given you have the correct stats earned through choices (or use URM). So if you do James encounters as sharing and then cheating with someone else, its only because you choose to do so. Not because the game forced you.

I respect how you plan on doing it then, but that will increase workload way more than having separate routes, won't it?

Still, if you can pull it off, it'll be very impressive imo.

Given the right skills as a writer, it should be relatively simple to a point. It wouldn't necessarily mean many more renders, as is the case for completely separated paths, which really require quite different settings and scenes quite often. A couple thousand extra lines of script and a few well placed renders probably.

Though the real work would be in animations...

I think maybe 2 or 3 different render/per choice or alternative and couple of changes of text for each paths.But most the game will be same render and text otherwise the volume of work will increase.

Imagine now, after Neil is already cast as the slimy, creepy, manipulative deviate boss....that he is going to go on a "redemption arc", in order to become the agreeable, sought-after partner to a couple of randy new employees....

That will be great if you can do that. I've played more than one game where the paths crossed over but not in a good way.
