I liked this update, but not initially. While the game seems to give me many choices, and apparently lets me go the direction I want, the seeming lack of communication between husband and wife was starting to frustrate me. I do understand the intention of the author, but reading their thoughts and how they were misunderstanding each other was reminding me of those TV-series episodes. You know the ones, the ones you skip, the ones based entirely on one little misunderstanding.
But I really enjoyed the gym-scene, especially from the moment I could choose for the wife to make the inference that her husband was not lusting for her friend, but admiring her confidence, and then feeling uplifted that her husband wanted the same for her. Though admittedly, the I the player was probably just being a horn-dog. The discussion about the points here and there is a good one, but I mostly think the distributions and retractions are make sense and are fine for the characters. They're not ideal, but they are not outlandish either. Mostly realistic.
I think it's so funny that the shrink and Neill are conspiring to get the wife laid by Neill, even if it's apparent to them that the husband is slowly getting into it anyway. That's a big pluss for this game, that it seems my choices are making an impact in how people act and think internally, at least superficially and slowly. I the player feel like a puppet-master! Haha, little did you puny mortals know that both me and MC are into that consensual sharing-shit!
Looking forward to choosing some open, honest, and erotic conversations between husband and wife in the future!

But they are keeping a secret from each other. They have not told each what was discussed with the therapist and how they feel about the discussions. It's the one part that feels off to me.

I thought the same but it's still early, they're slowly realizing their "kinks". To me it seems natural that they wouldn't outright talk about it yet, not when they haven't even fully realized or admitted their desires to themselves. It's good for building drama. I can imagine something will happen where they either finally talk about it or they admit things to each other slowly (If on the NTS path).

Yes, and no...
They are hiding one or two specific things from one another right now, for sake of the plot and branching paths.
Alex is hiding what he saw Jessica doing.
Sarah is hiding that she saw Alex's browser history when looking up that topic.
And she's hiding the 'relationship' advice she's getting from Eva.
Reader has the choice to have Alex tell about Emma and Sarah bring up Neil.
Generally, the reader has the choice to be honest (or not) about everything else and control the reactions. So, the loyal path is going to be fine, read the path descriptions in the guide (bottom right corner of main screen). Alex and Sarah are going to be 'influenced' by outside 3rd parties, but decide to keep any exploration limited to just the couple.

The loyal path is using 'exhibitionism' and 'voyeurism' as the way for the couple to test their (limited) boundaries on the loyal path.
The gym scene example, on the loyal path... Alex is wondering if Sarah dressing sexier would cause him to be jealous or confidently proud, because she's an attractive woman and men are going to hit on her if she shows more skin. If Alex is going to support her doing that, he has to be secure and trust that she will not be seduced away by others. That's why he thinks will I be too controlling if just walk over. Alex has to trust that sexier Sarah can handle simple interactions. Alex wondering if he'd be okay with Sarah going as far as Jessica is just that, him considering his boundaries, and on the loyal path, reader can say neither is interested in sharing/sex with others...
Sarah is reserved, conservative, needing to be comfortable with the attention, and she doesn't want to push anything too far or hurt Alex. And the reader has the choices to control her reactions to these situations.
I would agree, if they just talk about Jessica, the browser history, and discuss what they talk about with Eva, they'd resolve the entire plot for themselves on the loyal path. While they don't do that yet, again, the reader controls all the other choices to keep them loyal to one another. I think the sharing path is going to work out fine, too, once they finally talk about Jessica...

Correct, this.
This seems to happen with nearly every VN (myself included)... We see early parts of the story and start to panic.
We start making assumptions about characters, motivations, etc. well before the plot/story develops or reveals/explains, or resolves what's going on.
Just need to be patient, wait, let Fable cook, and see where the story goes.
Alex and Sarah right now are trying to figure, sort out their own thoughts/feelings.
Once they do, they'll be able to explain, discuss with each other.
The plot is keeping them from doing that right now to build the drama and develop the story/characters across various paths.

Well, we ain't all expert writers and storytellers...
For me, Fable's story is fine.
And the couple not talking about certain things yet is understandable and relatable.
This fits into what I would see as a shared power dynamic between MC & FMC, which is how it should be, with both fully aware of the power they hold as a couple, against or with all-comers

I'm primarily playing the loyal path.
I have the sharing/open as secondary, curious to see if Sarah can be turned into a cuckquean
, fingers crossed...The sharing/open path looks like it'll happen parallel to the loyal path.
Alex and Sarah have to sort through the same/similar emotions and feelings on either path.
The only differences seem to be choices to either share/open or keep it in the couple.

Yes, I know why he's doing it but it still doesn't sit right with me. They are portrayed as a loving and close couple. That normally would mean open and honest communication. I only play the sharing route and when they hide things from each other, it bugs me.
It is my only complaint in a game that I enjoy playing and will continue to play. I am also a patron and will continue to be.

Yes, I understand. Normally, not always. And loving couples aren't perfect right out of the gate or all the time.
The way Fable is playing this one is relatable, common.
Most loving couples get there through learning, development.
Even then, sometimes they have hiccups, don't immediately bring up things that could cause unnecessary conflict before each of them understands their own feelings.
I've thought it over before, Fable could have them talk about things immediately.
But, seems like they'd still be at the same point they are in the story, thinking, learning how they actually feel about it.
Fable seems to have simply chosen to have them wait and talk after they've each figured out their own thoughts first about 'exploring'.
And Fable isn't having them hide everything. Reader has the choice to bring up the actual immediate threats, Emma and Neil.
Sarah being smart, picking up on Neil, and then able to choose to bring it up, is absolutely refreshing. The reader has the choice to have the couple work together and face/figure it out as a team.

Neil thought he could manipulate Sarah into being 'independent'...
The conversation and choices (so far) allow the reader to make/keep them a loving couple.

I can't remember exactly, but how long had he been there for, I thought the dialogue suggested he had seen them either in the act or just getting clothing back in place etc. after the act. Positioning and actions can be quite obvious though if there is no immediate denial, so sometimes with a simple accusation without evidence, someone can betray themselves by immediately acting guilty or outright admitting it.
