The allegation would be enough...It doesn't make sense

Having gone through similar IRL, a 3rd party allegation is more than enough to cause major problems, even without evidence, and even with the other party also denying there's a relationship.
Let me just say, it's no picnic telling your spouse you've been accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a co-worker, even when you didn't do anything...
My now ex-wife never got over that shit, even with overwhelming evidence to prove I was innocent.
The allegation was enough, it's extremely difficult to prove 100% you didn't do anything, and it was one of the major points she brought up when we divorced.
She said she couldn't be 100% sure and 99% wasn't enough...
Being fully open, honest, can still end up in divorce...
Part of me still wishes I had actually done something so I could say whether it was worth all the bullshit or not...
Eva's situation makes perfect sense, and she's guilty...
Eva is simply taking the easy path for now.
She might come around, as her relationship with Alex and Sarah is increasing, and if Alex and or Sarah are 'dominant' or not.
