Well, while I'm personally also especially against 5.: people who argue so vehemently against that and see themselves as the guardians of the consistency of the story have to ask themselves why then the husband/boyfriend's character is already shaped to be a weak simp. Because that's exactly how he comes across right now. So if you don't want that "humiliation" why don't you argue in favor of stronger male roles? You have to see the contradiction here: He ALREADY characterwise and in what he tolerates and how he speaks and behaves is well on the way, so why stop there? You can't have it both ways.
