Not my area of expertise, but if you exclude Alex as the MMC, I'd say you're probably looking at James or Nick so far, or maybe Vincent if you're into the older variety. There's also Dwayne perhaps, but he has the same issue as Erik so far, in not getting any favourable lighting:
I agree that what I would think of as traditionally good-looking men aren't so common in games (as much because of the assets available, I think, as anything) but they make much more realistic potential partners for a young, attractive FMC, IMO. Like men, women can be attracted to anyone for any reason, but I think it helps if the other person is pleasant to look at, it makes the attraction a lot more believable – otherwise you're just leaning into the "old/ugly/fat" trope that has a big following but loses realism for me in the extreme way it is handled in games.

It's nearly time for Whispers of Desire 0.35 and although Sarah takes centre stage here, there's some progress for Alex as well. As before, I'm not going to directly spoil anything (hopefully I won't inadvertently spoil anything either!), and it's likely there may be some changes anyway, since I've not played a finished version, only an early test for proofreading, but let's have some teasers.
The dialogue in this update shows some of the avenues that are truly being opened up, and I'm excited for the possibilities going forward.

Sucks that Sarah takes center stage again, I am glad for some MMC, like looks like we getting some Emma time if my eyes do not decieve, excited for that, but I do wish and hope we get a little more focus on MMC more and Sarah takes an update or two getting slightly less.
Cause its starting to feel like the Sarah game including MMC, which I want our other character to matter too. I want us to get some focus and action. But still excited to play.

I get that. Alex gets plenty of choices, but a lot of them are around Sarah and what she's doing - moving forwards in the sharing side (or the cheating side, if you're creating distance between Alex and Sarah) - as opposed to him doing something with other women. That will come though, and we have already started to see some of it with a couple of women. I personally would also like to see more of a balance in that respect.
In this update in particular, you can see that, if you're looking at that particular path, they are both heading in the same direction, it's just that Alex doesn't have as many opportunities as Sarah - in fact, only one really, so far as Sarah is aware of (not including her hearing Abigail complimenting Alex, since there's nothing more to that yet, as far as Sarah is concerned).
And also, yes, some Emma time. I think the progress in this coming update is quite quick, in many respects.
I know I'm looking forward to Alex/Emma time, and this rev will have some of that!
I am hoping that, in a few revs, we get the chance for Alex to own what he saw between Jessica, Eric and John. I think there is a choice coming to help further separate different paths - Alex confesses what he saw and he:
Got curious and wants Sarah's thoughts (sharing and cuck paths)
Stunned and, upon some serious retrospection, realized that he could Never share his wife with other men. (loyal and cheating paths)
Depending on the playthrough, Sarah can respond very differently to Alex's revelation, pushing her further from Alex or encouraging her to move closer to him.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out, but it will take a number of revs to see things evolve and move further into the different paths.

IMO this is the problem with making this a path-pivot scene. It's too narrow from the start. Both the racial angle and the cuckish-feeling from John joining only later. Much better to have a broad level conversation between Alex and Sarah - like say they watch some movie about a couple going to a swingers club, and both of them can either react positively or negatively, leading to the path splits you listed above.
I don't know that Alex will specifically ridicule the BBC fetish but in my playthroughs - Sarah begins as naive and trusting and Alex as protective (getting Eric to back off for the first time) and I am planning on Sarah turning down Eric (in favor of James, for example) and avoiding that particular fetish.
There are a number of ways to do the bigger conversation, but I think Sarah and Alex are operating on different wavelengths right now - with Sarah making assumptions about what she thinks Alex wants/is happy with - due to the laptop discovery - (and, OC, Dr. Eva is pushing her towards opening things up while trying to get Alex to be open to Sarah's journey).
I am hoping that they Do have that conversation where they clear up that misunderstanding though.
With some of the paths, I think that Sarah will already be too invested in the excitement of the new experiences to be able to set them aside and return to the more 'limited' wife she was before her discovery of the laptop and Alex's searches to try to understand what he was seeing with Jesica.
It will be interesting to see when Alex and Sarah get to have this conversation. IMO, the decision of one partner to open up the marriage (especially if it is hidden) while the other partner wants the marriage to be monogamous will be a major betrayal.

One of you guys suck at this, and the other one is coping, lol...
No offense, but there is a bit of overthinking going on here, and I got a whole other story to tell too, but it's not up to us, haha.
But yeah, that conversation is the most important thing at this stage, and I for one am just gunna wait, forever if necessary, to see just when that happens. If it takes too long, then maybe I will just have to consign this game to the trash, no matter how hot Sarah might be. Or, just eventually realise that it is actually just another slut-game, and play it that way instead of what it promised...because honestly that is all I see at this point.
