4. Man of the House
5. Dating My Daughter
These two garbage fires are in your top 10 but you don't like Big Brother? I mean, if it's just for art reason's I guess it would be acceptable, but there are very real technical reasons why both are not well made, especially when compared to some of the others lower on your list.
6. Summertime Saga
8. My Sweet Neighbors/Parental Love
13. Mythic Manor
2 life sims which I think are better than MotH in that they have less grind, and more story based narratives, which isn't by accident, as grind exists in places where a developer can't think of a good story.
2 Nearly exactly the same, mechanically, visual novels which don't suffer from the pacing issues that have made dmd take nearly 2 years to get to a blowjob, or the inconsistent character, as D's personality swings from 8 or 9 year old to about 14 and back depending on how naive Mr. Dots needed her to be.
Each of them have redeeming qualities as well, the secrecy plot in DmD is actually where I'd have focused my efforts, if I'd been writing it, as that is more than enough drama to keep it interesting, without needing to blueball your players. MotH had some pretty good ideas in my opinion when it came to the older sister, though it fails to earn them with narrative. The younger sister's line probably works the best as is, not needing much to change, only to remove grind and implant narrative. But I'm not at all happy with the way things worked with the mom, they made Max look like less of a creeper.
