Mod QSP Abandoned Whore Life [v0.372] for Girl Life [Last update: 13.05.2021]

I haven't tried BaDIK (and I'm not interested because I didn't like the previous game of this author) but it seems to me that this thing lags only due to 4k pictures and a large number of them. In the same game, most of the pictures are clothes. And in this game, most of the pictures are clothes.

Why does GL have many (not most mind you) pictures of clothing?
Because the majority of the screen is either empty or text.
Because QSP is text based.
If it were 1:1 to be converted to RenPy that would at least tripple the image file sizes.

For example BaDIK has an overall file size nearing 20 GB. A converted to RenPy GL would easily surpass that.

Because he isn't.
After the party Shura can't be found in the game anymore as he was one of the "loose ends" Sveta needed to tie up for the planned finale of the mod.
He basically hid from the gang boss, likely because of an unrelated fail, which punishment would have ended either his life or his gang membership.
Which with this gang leadership likely is the same ...

Anyone know if some update broke main plot?

Previous playthrough, reported Belys and they went byebye and you were free, but new one, game just goes on like nothing happened, even days later.

No, it's abandoned. I suppose there's some chance the original author returns or someone else picks it up, but I wouldn't count on it.

It is being maintained on TFgamessite, though, so at least what's there in the mod is kept up to date with the current version of Girl Life (8.9 is imminent). I'd link it for you, but the site appears to be down right now, sorry.

If you join the games Discord, there is a version that is kept up-to-date with the current game build.

There is a chance that the mod 'may' get a remake/rebuild/sequel by some of the people on the discord... Though I suspect that if it would have some differences, and I suspect a removal of Rex's content.

A "completely new but with a similar name and setting" mod is way more realistic.
A "spiritual successor" but not a direct sequel.

There were a couple of tries for a prostitution mod.
Those either got abandoned, are in "development hell" or got swallowed by Girl Life.

GL consumes all.

Some elements of this mod are being added to the main game but with changes and reworking to make it fit the GL world better and reduce some of the excess media so that the image packs don't get out of hand. Some code and text is being reworked in the process too so its a bit slow.
