That's most likely because your save file is overwriting the new code. It will work on a new game.
I'm going to change it a little bit in the next update. Put that block of code in what's called an 'after_load' label. That gets read after all the saves are loaded, but before you start the game.
Got the following error:
I'm not on any Laura path
I'm on Agnes' Lust path
I let her sleep in the basement, but never molested her (skipped the 2 events where you can go downstairs)
Then after the coffee date with April, meeting the couple (called None and None, not sure that's intentional either), and after meeting with Ahmed, he calls Laura and asks her if Agnes should work as his replacement.
She never met her at that point (the only reason I chose Agnes' Lust path in the first place).
Great idea in general to give her the job tho, just in person makes much more sense xD
And it gets worse
After MC told her what to do, she sits on Lauras bet naked, Laura giving her the hair replacement. I really try hard to avoid them being anywhere near each other. Not much sense in disabling FF content if it just means I see half of it anyway xD
Did anyone else encounter that?
Is there a way to avoid Laura, get Agnes on the love route (or if it has to be the creepy lust route) without then bugging back to Lauren?

Okay, about the first thing...
On the Lust route (and no Laura path) you would have checked on Agnes (and had a little fun, more if you wanted but that was optional) .. After this scene you would have gone down again and seen if she was awake yet but she was gone and then you got a text from Laura saying that she took Agnes in to help her.
I see that I left that ambiguous for some choices. So I'll change that scene a bit to where the MC asks Laura for advice and Laura takes Agnes under her wing, even if you are not on Laura's path. That was my mistake and lack of awareness in covering all possible choices. I'm not sure if I can get that in for the next update, but it will definitely be cleaned up and made better before Act 5 and the endings. Thanks for the report.
As for your second thing, I always meant for Laura to be a surrogate mother to Agnes. If you chose to not be on a path with Laura, you will still see her in the story. And, in fact, that scene you had with the hair replacement, would have not shown Agnes naked if not on her path, but they would still both be in that scene.
More than the lewd scenes, I am also trying to write a story and I won't just omit certain characters because they are not on your path.. The path on or off, just means that you are or are not pursing a sexual relationship. I'd have to write a new story altogether, if I wanted to disappear Laura completely, and I am not doing that... sorry. And, in fact, you will likely see some characters nude, even if not on their paths, because that just happens in real life, especially when living together.

Actually I like the idea of the two of them living together, maybe as a pair with benefits, even if both are bonking with our MC. Adds a different view. Now lets see how the daughter of the MC carries on, will she also fall for him? Of course she will. This building is like one lustful hotel , like a harem dream come true.
Thanks for some of the clarifications. Played to the current end and it seems like Agnes is ready to move into her own condo now. She was still naked in all scenes with Laura in her apartment, so that maybe needs some more work.
Just to be clear: I do not ask for any changes that differ from your plans with these characters. I ask about the possibilities you already planned. I have nothing against F/F content (I'm a big fan in fact and support multiple lesbian games), I just don't like Laura. Both appearance and character wise.

Was Not sure if this has been reported. but with the Act 3 Part 2 Beta android version for some reason in the scene with the Dark Horse riding protagonist it shows None as the name rather than the default name. Don't have Dark Horse Riding on my phone.

I introduced a small bug with the crossover variables. The hotfix I posted a couple pages ago was only for the PC version, but that only works on a new game.
I've changed the code in this next update to apply default names properly to those characters, if you don't already have them named. That fix will be for all versions of the game and it will work with old saves.

You probably are on Mei's "lust path" and you need to be on Mei's "love path" for that scene.

Guess I'll catch it in a second playthrough.. as I wait for more content. Now to spend six hours on trying to give our MC a new name for said 2nd run.
did two playthroughs and on first one I was on love path mostly (just Julliete was on Lust for some reason), seemed good.
Both Josephine and Amanda got auto assigned Love path in these. I assume especially for Amanda it is the only possible path?
Lust playthrought wasnt as smooth. Dunno if I chose something wrong but I seem to have "no path set" for both Lian and Olivia. Is that intended? Still missing quite a few scenes even after two playthroughs.
Josephine is one of the bigger variables it seems. You get or not get completely different scenes depending on what hand you use to grab her ass etc later in the story. Like in once case you get Olivia scene and in another you dont?
Tbh a bit annoyed that 2 playthroughs arent enough. And tbh you cant even do ctrl skip seen scenes at some cases despite them bringing nothing new (but probably some variable different and thats it). Technically you can select in options to ctrl skip EVERYTHING but it misses kinda key point and you dont want to miss scenes that you never saw.
Well tldr, love path seems kinda smoothed out, lust maybe not yet, some variations are a bit annoying/buggy but overall good game

Joe should be defaulted to the Lust path (or no path), but not the Love path. So any scenes with her are dependent on other choices and not a path. And, of course, the MC's daughter is going to be Love only.
Not sure about the CTRL-skipping issue you mentioned. I don't have many places where their are hard pauses. Ren'py will automatically stop at any point with a Choice. And rollback only works up to a max amount, that I haven't played with in Ren'py. In any Ren'py game, you have to always be careful using rollback, because any choice or variable you set, will reset to it's prior state, if you rollback to a point before the choice/flag. That's why many devs put a no-rollback statement when there are important choices.
I confess that my path mechanics are pretty messed up, especially in Act 1. When I finish the first 1.0 version, I plan on doing another restructure to smooth those paths out and make the story flow better.
Still, at the end of the day, this VN has unlimited save slots, so just save at any Choice points, if you want to try and unlock all the gallery images and see any other paths.
thx for the answer. is that normal that both Lian and Olivia are with no path set even after second playthrough? (on first playthrough I had no problem getting them on love path).
And Joe is definetely on Love path too in first playthrough. Didnt even choose that myself, just somehow it happened. But its good imo, dont mind at all
And unlimited saves...well I am not a fan of many many playthroughs just to see and extra scene or two. Especially if some variable is early on and it influences scenes way later. Could be just me

You should have a path set for Lian by the end of current content, otherwise you missed something. I noticed that in order to get on her lust path you have to be on her mother's love path, fyi.
