Why are game developers so obsessed with gigantic breasts?

Oh boy, good question. I also noticed theres not even a tag here for anything else than big breasts. Which can range from holy fuck are they big to "the size to end all life on earth". And no, I dont think that therefore everything without that tag is useful for the people that dont want them. Theres still a big variety there, and guess what, searching with a tag works, without one does not.

And honestly, I think its the stigma of smaller breasts meaning youth. Its not just Australia that can and mostly will ban any porn actress that has small breasts, and yes, even when they can clearly proof that they are old enough.

Its what I heard from developers, especially those on a certain site starting with P, that they either pre-emptively "upped" breast sizes of their characters, or they were told to do so. Because apparently breast size equals age. And they all comply because they dont want to get banned.

So at least my deduction is that, once again, stupid society is to blame, just like many other things.

And that all comes from a guy that really doesnt mind big boobers, but not all the fucking time. I only know a really small amount of games here that dont have them on every female character.

The only time I can find females in the games here with what I consider normal (and statistics would indicate are not only the average, but most prevalent)

The average breast size in the UK is 36D while the average size in USA is 34DD.

B was the average 20+ years ago but that has changed.

Mine are a B cup and are considered small, my twinsy is a D and considered average.

Those are 1) a bit oversized(like Ariel Winter before she got them reduced), and 2) the boob-sag is understated. Also, unless she's a pro, selling her "product", that outfit is a tad too provocative for street wear.
