I know how to use the site, and I do avoid, I just wanted to start a convo and did it the wrong way. I don't think people are upset that you wrote 5 lines or wanted to start a conversation.
I think the problem is that for years this particular topic "Why so much NTR ?" was being brought up at least once a week, or it feels like it at least( I don't think it's possible to take statistics of this claim though ) and the answer was and is always the same: "It's not actually as much as you claim it is and the forum stats confirm it."

As someone who openly admits liking ntr among plenty other fetishes it also feels slightly disrespectful. There are so many controversial porn topics out there like rape, drugs, beastiality, necrophilia, My Little Pony, and you don't see as much complaining but God forbid there being a game where the male MC is not banging every woman.

As to how I can enjoy ntr, it is actually simple and you also answered it yourself, I just do not ever self insert into any genre I play.
Personally I would compare playing an ntr game to watching a slasher / splatter movie. I know what I am getting into, I know there will be dark and disturbing scenes and I still watch and enjoy it anyway for multiple reasons.

As to why there are "so many" ntr games being made I can think of 3 possibilities
- Some developers think that this tag is a low hanging fruit that will attract a niche community for support.
- Some devlopers want to write a certain kind of story with some specific moments and they add the tag in fear of retribution from the fans. ( I've seen some games where the tag has no place but it was demanded by rabid players because of some side scene )
- More ntr enjoyers pick up dev work to try to create a game fitting their specific tastes rather than more devs becoming cucks. ( Since ntr is a very broad fetish it has plenty of tastes and flavors to the point where it is very difficult to find something you really like )

Well , from a neutral standing point , it'll be safe to assume so .
