Why so few games with "normal looking" people?

I wouldn't say I look for 'normal' looking characters. I do prefer more 'realistic' looking though, more than a cartoonish look.
I search for those I don't know about in Latest Updates, you can see a pic of each game usually title or main menu screen. The search filters there are good too

I almost obsessively check Latest Updates when ever I can to look for any new contributions.
My 2TB HDD reserved for X/GAME have to be under constant surveillance to clear away older versions.

There are some, not so many, games where most of the people actually look fairly normal/realistic.
Gates Motel for example present unshaved armpits and pubic areas.
I believe it's not back to "80's or 90's porn" but how the average John or Jane Doe looks like irl.
The Promise features slightly sagging tits, beer keg bellies, and hairy areas below scalp.
Wrinkles, crows feet and freckles seem to be shunned in the horse dong/ddddd-cup games.
Some games manage to present a mix of normal and extra size/photo shop models.
In Room for rent an elderly med dr tries to lure young girls to do the naughty.
Bald with long white beard and a slight bulge of a tummy.
The innocent girls on the other hand look like they've chemically removed all hair below their necks, cute as fuck though.

Light of my life is a brilliant example where most of the females aren't like glam models.
The MC, as usual, have no facial features yet.
Some say that no two pairs of tits are alike, and not only that: no two tits are identical!
Dicks come in all types and sizes: thin, thick, long, short.
Pointing up or down, left or right. Bent in any direction.
No two vaginas are identical. They too come in all shapes and sizes.
In my teens I was fascinated by the Playboy bun snatched Playmates.
Later on with more experience and knowledge the shape no longer mattered.

Speaking about the power of art vs reality, I am glad that the former can also accommodate tastes for ideal body-shapes, proportionate body-parts, etc. What's the point of the escapist art such as these games, if not to create something desired, rather than recreating the obnoxiousness of reality we often encounter? I may be shallow in this respect, but I am a sucker for the "walking-clothes-hanger" body-type as my father used to derisively poke fun at fashion-models. + It seems like Eastern Europe where I live is heaven based on this, because most females I see have small to moderate sized breasts. Maybe breast-size increases with GDP, after all.

I have to agree that a top notch figured body sets the kettle to boil, for sure.
When playing through n amount of games where the participants either resemble porn stars like John Holmes ( the legendary 15 inch ) or Savannah ( the tragically deceased ) it gets a bit too much.

Midlife crisis have got a good mix of BIGGER and smaller and the not so young anymore.

If you look at "porn" as whole. It create a skewed image of people. Boob jobs, nip'n tucks here and there. The average penis size of a male actor would be on the larger size, because tools of the trade. And no, not all black's do pack a bat like "Mandigo".

I don't have any real preference I guess. Just like the normal "girl next door look". I think most of the issue is the creators lack of creating believable characters, so you end up with extremes. Take the game "Gates Motel", it got nice renders that make the characters more life like and believable. End of the day I think it's just depend on what level of effort the creator want to put into it. Make things look normal is hard I guess.

I meant sites like Patreon. Tit size is a big factor when it's judged if the character is minor or adult despite other factors.
If a model is something from google images "Korean girl", it's somehow risky.
