Merchandising, merchandising, where the real money from the game is made!

We'll have Wicked Choices-the T-shirt, Wicked Choices-the Coloring Book, Wicked Choices-the Lunch box, Wicked Choices-the Breakfast Cereal, Wicked Choices-the Flame Thrower.

And last but not least, Wicked Choices-the doll, Syrina!

The kids will love her! ;)
I think you are into something here....

Actually, the thing about the doll... well, that wasn't completely a lie.

Because of some of my connections and due to publicly posting renders of both Syrina and Lynara, I was approached by a very well known doll company (Jiusheng doll) about maybe making a life-sized Syrina and Lynara hybrid (silicon/tpe) doll set for fans of our game.

I am considering it, but told them I would like to wait till I start releasing the next series before giving them an answer... not sure if anyone would really be into it, but sure wouldn't mind life-sized versions of them in my office here.

Here is a sample of their work.

Nice, is it a world first for AVNs?

For Western Gamers and games, probably.

But definitely not for Asian's... though, I can't be sure, I know that they have a lot of 'cosplay' versions where they resemble characters from games and animes, but don't know if they are licensed approved by the companies, like mine would be.

Mostly wouldn't be interested in any merchandising at all, mostly would be a print (you could use eg. for that). Life size doll, I don't think I would by one - also cost a lot another question, would it have "Realistic Oral Structure"?:LOL: It seem a feature worthy of mention on that site.:sneaky::whistle::coffee:. A smaller doll or 3d printed one would be the most realistic for me - and even then, as written, highly unrealistic.
But sure, go for it, if you think it is worth. Who am I to say otherwise?:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Actually, being a 'love doll' it would have all available orifices for maximum pleasure... *cough, cough* :sneaky: ;)

I have a bunch of connections in the figurine market, part of what I had been doing while also working on the game (need to keep a roof over my head) and have made quite the reputation in that industry... including getting to work with Luis Royo (and his son Romulo by extension), Julie Bell and Boris Vallejo... so if I wanted to create miniature figurines (with cast-off abilities), I could easily do that.

As for tees and other merchandise, honestly, I don't think I am there yet as a company... for any of it, yet... a lot of it would have to be considered once the next game is out, being released on a regular schedule (like my first one was, till the end) and generating a fanbase... so, I think I am a ways away from that right now, but I do have the connections in the comic book and toy/figurine market, as well as possibly doing the 'love dolls' if I think the market would support it.

Honestly, before all of that, I would need to bring more people or a person on board to help with the 'after' marketing aspect, me trying to do everything... writing, artwork, online marketing and customer service... is honestly too much for me now and I am no where near as big as some of these other AVN creators... my game IS known, I do have a VERY LOYAL fanbase (you guys here), but I don't have a current product that is a competitor to the current AVN market, nor have I been (physically) reliable as a company to all of you or a new market... that has GOT to CHANGE!

Right now, my focus is getting better with this arm, getting the Prologue out which has 7 sections to it and that sets up the backstory for those unfamiliar with the first game, establishes the current characters and story, as well looks to be nearly 100,000 words, with tons of images and some SERIOUS CHOICES you all will have to make before we get to Chapter One of the game... then Chapter One through Four is going to be about you setting up how your Main Characters are going to be going forward with the rest of the game, as well as what is going on in the background as you make those character defining choices... and THEN will I consider if we have something worth releasing on Steam or not.

I am sure, by then, all of you will know my seriousness of this, as well as tell me if you think all of us here have a product that would be worth supporting or not...

...till then, we focus on what is in front of us.

1.) Me getting through and finishing Physical Tor... err... Therapy.
2.) Continue to provide supportive content for the fans (all of you) while I work to get better and finish Physical Tor...ugh...Therapy.
3.) Finish the Prologue and get in into all of your hands...

...then we'll go from there. ;)

That's my plan right now.

I just assume that Stjepan Šejić is not among them, otherwise I would be jealous.;) FYI; I think I have most of his spicy works (Sunstone and Fineprint).

I would assume, you could find people who would help you - even for peanuts - here (eg. myself).;)

Got to say, never heard of him... he came after my time in the comic book industry (I was in it from '92-'98) and I've never worked with indie figurine creators, I worked for Yamato Toys (as Press/AdCopy) and have also worked with and know many sculptors from companies like McFarlane, Sideshow and Kotobukiya.

I joined his Patreon and will check him out sometime tonight after I've recovered some from Physical Therapy, got to say I like his artwork for his stuff, but really haven't picked up a comic book to "read" since I left the industry... but will check him out.

As for help, I'll definitely be asking around when it comes time here; right now just going to keep it where things are with Epadder, Sierra, the wife and myself right now, because... honestly... I can't afford to pick anyone else up.

I know that one of my MAJOR needs is going to be someone that can do animation!!

Yes, I did some animation for the opening menu of our game, but that was a LOT of work in trying to get Daz Studio to cooperate to do so... and ask anyone that uses Daz and they will tell you, you DON'T WANT TO DO ANIMATION IN DAZ!

And they'd be right.

I just don't have it in me to try and learn Blender (more than I have) to do animations in it and if I did, I have neither the time or patience to do keyframe animation anymore and, for sure, at this moment can't afford the MoCap equipment to do animation files... so, will have to hire someone once the game picks up pace in releases/income and have them work backwards on doing animation from the scene files I'll create, for them to do animation to add to the game and then work forward with the rest of the production.

So, for the first couple of game releases, we won't have sex animation till I can hire someone... I don't want 3-10 image strung together animation in our game... I'd rather just go without it if that was the case.

But, yeah, I fully intend to take advantage of this place, as well as the contacts that I've been making on X to try and fill roles that we are desperately going to need as things move forward... that has been, how I've come this far and how it will probably keep going till I can't go on... and maybe a bit longer if I have enough talent working. ;)

I know that Perverteer has for the animations.
Good to know.
I am a ways away from being in any kind of position to hire someone right now... and far to broke to, but it is DEFINITELY a thing that I will have to focus and concentrate on, once I start generating some income.

Other tool could be AI. I have absolute know idea in detail and I fear in general too. Yet, I think with a few images a good (trained) AI could generate the missing ones. That could be another approach as could perhaps do that yourself.
Of course, you will need to learn to tool that you can control too, but I think this is easier than Blender. And if all things don't work their is always Blender.:devilish:
