at the moment I only know basic renpy programming, eventually I hope to turn it into a sandbox with more interaction and turn based combat.

as a player, my only feedback is that if its padding then I'm a drop out.

idk any legendary VN having sandboxes.

a game element either serves a purpose or it just wastes the player's time.
