Good luck with it, If you actually get into building anything.
Just be aware that building anything of decent size can have a voracious appetite for materials.
I built a small/decent size 2 story wood house with castle walls and an add-on castle building and went through something like 4 or 5 stacks, each, of wood and stone.
My apologies if I led you to believe that building anything was a god tier grind to farm materials. My intent was to say that you can end up using quite a lot of materials without even realizing it.
Sorry if it sounds like I am trying to talk you out of building anything, I am just trying to let you know that you can end up harvesting more stone and wood than you might think you need.
Here is a picture of the home I built in my current game, I would call it a decent size structure.
These are not exact numbers, I have a couple places where I only have 1 wall section or I have an additional low wall section underneath a wall section to fill in the gaps between the ground and the wall.
If you are just making a small, basic, box or just throwing down some stone floor tiles for stuff, it won't be too bad. But, if you want something a bit bigger, the amount of stone and wood you can end up using can be a bit of a surprise.
Happy building and send us forum plebs a pic of your new home if you feel up to it when you are done.

Holly Crap.
Ok,your house looks awesome, mine so far is just a square hahah.
Yes, so far a lot of wood and stone is needed. Youwere rigth.

No worries, i understood what you said.
My previous surprise was you need a lot ofmaterials.

Practice. Practice. Practice.
My first few houses I built were very basic square boxes as well. After talking with another person here, Formasual, I started getting more creative and actually building things in places other than right near the beach by the fisherman and making things that were somewhat more involved.
Before the last update or two, building was rather buggy and I had given up on trying to build anything.
Here is a sample of my 'peak building skills' before the last patch or two: Beach front property
PS: I don't know if you have run into this yet or not, but the castle pieces and wood pieces do not line up properly. The castle building pieces are bigger and trying to mix and match them into a single building can drive you nuts.
* And the main thing: the developers could assume that this is a pornographic game and stop trying to put pornography in the background to try to be acceptable on Steam, because on Steam there are games that are much better developed and with fewer bugs, but those who prefer Wicked Island, prefer it precisely because it is a pornographic game, and we want pornography.
What makes this game special and interesting in the first place is that it's trying to be a full-fledged survival game, but with porn. That seems to have always been the plan and I don't see any sign of the dev planning to deviate from it.
I don't really see where you're even coming from with this. Has something supposedly changed recently? Or are you assuming the reason some particular kink you're into isn't getting included is because of Steam?

Does the developer look at the suggestions posted here?
* It would be much more immersive if there was an animation of her sleeping instead of just darkening the screen. There could also be a rape scene if she doesn't choose the right safe place to sleep;
* There could be a specific button, as well as a specific animation, to seduce the enemy, since masturbating in front of the enemy doesn't make much sense;
* There could be the possibility of her prostituting herself with the NPCs in the scenario, especially those who sell things in the village;
* There could be a function to extract sperm from her private parts, like in Lona RPG, and with the bottles she could store this sperm, which would be much more interesting than the function of extracting sperm from dead creatures, which doesn't make much sense in a hentai game;

personally for stone (but nothing else) I just cheat as the harvesting for stone is just way too annoying (versus say mining or wood cutting now that the infamous flying logs was solved back in 8.5.8 or so)
Haha Fluffy! I am now inspired to name my reaper "Snuggles"
The dev isn't even on his own discord all the much anymore. He seems pretty busy lately. He's been here before, but I wouldn't make any bets that would happen again and certainly not any time soon. If you want to offer some feedback that he will see then I suggest joining his discord and posting it there in the bugs/feedback channel (link is on the OP). He reads it all though not every day. There is another dev who works with him and he is in their discord as well, but he is more on the coding side. But he is there a bit more than RD I'd say.
Every build he works on cleaning up some of the more serious bugs, but that usually leads to introducing new bugs especially with changes and newer content/reworked content added. Its not a AAA team developing this. Its just two guys and one of them is mainly a coder so its kinda just one for most of it. Instead of bug hunting himself which would probably push updates back probably triple the amount of time they come, he relies on others who test the alpha versions and generally other people who play it. Its buggy I cannot deny, but its also free to most people including me so I find it hard to complain about it.
Yeah I started throwing some subcribestart dollars their way since... hmmm .8 version? - felt the bug fixing responsiveness and actual trying (not always succeeding but at least trying) merited some dollars for them. The Coder Guy I saw at one point saying if you use the Bug Report appi feature in discord he tries to track that down so it seems worthwhile - certainly the Bug reports on that seem to getting addressed if not maybe entirely fixed.
If you build something near a spawn point it prevents them from spawning. I assume if you delete the parts then they would start spawning again, but I haven't tested that part. But I have tested building on and near spawn points where it keeps them from spawning. I've done this at a location where are a lot of wolves near an iron ore mining location with multiple iron ore mining nodes. I built a fence and added a little more over time and less wolves would spawn and eventually there were no more wolves spawning near my base at all. Initially this happened at a different location where there were two wolves that spawned near, but it was just the top of some stairs I had built that lead to a bridge over water that led to my base. I noticed that the wolves that spawned near it stopped spawning. Not sure how close you need to be with whatever you build or even it matters what you build. I assume it doesn't matter what you build and it could even be a campfire. By the way, campfires are convenient to build around the map for lighting since they persist and if you put everlasting coal in them they burn forever. Good for personal points of interest. Torches do the same, but torches tend to speed up my fans more for some reason.

Thank you for supporting. There are a lot of projects from a lot of devs that are worthy of support, most of us cannot toss money at them all. Or maybe shouldn't toss money at them all. About 15 years ago I blindly threw away about $2300 over time without realizing how much it was accumulating. It didn't break me, but it was certainly something that shocked me once I realized. Since then I've been possibly overly mindful about where I spend money that doesn't go toward my immediate needs. Hopefully, if my current plans fall through as expected, I'll be able to start supporting this project as well because it is definitely worthy of support.

### Changed * **Evercoal** crafting now requires 1 crystal.
True, evercoal will be more difficult to craft now, but its always felt entirely too easy to make for me. I think back before it was added and I had to mine for coal and it was just another thing to set out to do. This update just means I'll have to do that again for a while. I'm sure the crystals will still be super easy to get. Just need a bow and a stack of arrows.
But wym about your base lighting? You been keeping the same save throughout the last few revisions?
