Guys honest opinion. I checked the reviews and some are saying that the game is finally decent. Is it currently worth playing right now? How bad are the bugs?

I have had that issue on a semi regular basis while playing the game. I have had body parts clipping through the armor as well or the armor just not appearing correctly when you equip it, but it doesn't really affect the game play, it just looks weird.

It is as if the game is only refreshing the armor skin when you exit and restart the game or, as ISven said, entering a dungeon.

I'm currently having the skin showing from beneath armor pieces going invisible. Leather and bronze are both like that so far, it makes me wanna just stick with the rags or go naked...

Edit: Adding an image.

Every other revision is basically unplayable IMO. The one available here (8.6.1) is very good in terms of content and bugs. The latest revision available on subscribestar has changed the version identity to dates, and its buggy enough that you don't want it. Something about really bad laggy play. No point in pirating it and uploading it here. Best to wait for the next revision and just keep playing this one for now.

Well, ask yourself this question: What is my tolerance level?

If you require your game to be pixel perfect, smooth and light enough on performance that any potato computer could run it, and not a single graphical glitch or clipping issue, then ...... this game is probably not for you.

If you can tolerate some glitches in graphics (armor is kind of bugged right now) or body parts clipping through clothing and armor, you should be fine playing this game.
The game can be pretty demanding on resources, so if your machine is a bit of a potato, brace yourself for some low FPS, especially in certain areas.

I have an 8GB RTX 4060, 16GB RAM, I7-6700, running on an SSD and the game runs just fine for me.
There are some areas where my performance tanks to about 5FPS for 5 or 10 seconds and then it picks back up to around 60FPS.
The quests seem to work just fine. Harvesting, farming, and building all (mostly) work fine for me.
Armor has this bad tendency to try applying the previous armor's skin, so if you had bronze armor and then swap it out for steel armor, it looks like crap until you enter a dungeon or save and reload your game.

The game has crashed on me a couple of times while I was building things, so the game does lose its mind if you build to many things at a single time. Just remember to save every so often and you should be fine if you are trying to build a mansion or castle.

I was never able to charm Mira with the staff - only sex. However, she is the object desired by Solos, and the MC has to bring her back to him. I've told him that she agreed. he gave a double powered mask and wanted to breed. A baby is born. Over the past 2 day no one has appeared in town since ...
Well, I very well could be remembering how things were in an earlier version.
I am not out hunting for slaves and implementing some rigorous breeding program, so it very well could be that Mira was changed so that you cannot use the staff on her.
Mira should start appearing in the town again, it could be there is some type of cool down on her reappearing in the town. I know I can find her in my game even after completing that quest. I am just not farming her for slave collars, so I have no idea what could/would have changed with her.

As an example of things that have changed in this version: I just found out that Cacti, in the desert, no longer acts as a source of wood. Cutting down a cactus just gives fiber, in the previous versions it would give the same amount of wood as cutting down a small tree, but in this version cactus only gives fiber.

mmm - Key?
When you enter that dungeon, there is a locked iron gate near the entry area.
When you make it to the deepest depths of the hollow tunnels, past that area you mentioned that has the slaves you can free and around that big U bend in the path, you should enter a large room where the arch demon is and a set of stairs going up to a platform with a work desk and a chest. On that desk there is a small key that will unlock that gate.
If you stay on that platform, there should be another tunnel leading out and it should take you straight to that gate.

The key is kind of small and blends in pretty well with the desk, but if you look closely at the desk you should see it.

PS: I found those slaves you mentioned, in that dungeon. Apparently I blew right past those doors on a rampage to smash big nasties that were distracting me from looting and scouting everything.

The game from "Buzzheavier" and "Vikingfile" don't work. Trying to launch does absolutely nothing, not even running in the background or anything like that.
Same problem with the one from "Datanodes".
Pixeldrain has a 6GB cap, so can't even download it from there without paying. And I've hit my MEGA limit apparently.

Oh yes - I know the desky thing - I guess I missed the key.... I just returned the way I came. Is there anything to be gained from exiting via that tunnel or just convenient not to go back through (I guess now the thing respawns like mad...)

Pixeldrain doesn't actually cap off, you just download the overage at drip-drip speed. Be patient and it arrives.

Convenience.

I think you are meant to find the key the first time you go through the dungeon. So, instead of plodding all the way back to the entry after you murdered and plundered your way through the entirety of the dungeon, you can take a 'short cut' back out to the entry and abscond with your loot.

Right - in the new build I have now it's goddamn murderous with a respawn rate that's ... yeah, getting out via backdoor makes sense. Prior version I think I'd just shrug but this version, damn. (which is not a complaint as much as observation)

Are you referring to the latest version released earlier this month or the version posted here? If its the latest, is it as buggy as others are saying in discord? Like laggy and stuff? Also, the version posted here, for me at least, makes the dungeons nearly completely empty after first time going thru them. The two new ones still have the Archdemon and maybe one other nightmare or something, but thats it, and no slaves either after first time making the Iron Creed castle the only place to find them reliably. Curious if latest version is the same or if dungeons changed again.

The one released earlier this month, July. Just started.

I think the bugginess is getting overblown, it's true it's a bit of step back in stability (have had crashes semi-regularly where I never really had crashes from say December 24 version on) and has new issues like lagging (this I notice in my last-version-here save where I am 80+ lvl, but not so much in a clean lvl 1 restart I started) and seems to have weird new problem in spawning.

I'd say it's tolerable and I'm not unhappy - although equally not something per se to rush for.

I did find while the Devs warn not to use old save, I think the only problem is it wiped out my Horde-of-Stuff (all equipment, all saved items, all servants... except: servants in a crafting station [e.g. milking] and stuff in crafting (like in the cauldron or the furnace). On other hand everything reset for dungeons, alters, etc. so I can rebuild (it does seem the endless reset bug has been fixed so once you clear an alter it stays cleared)

Since I was forewarned, I just used cheat menu to restore the T3 armor and the weapons and special items, and otherwise took the hit (anyway w last version allowing me to redo the alters and stuff I had a ridiculous oversupply this gives me something to do to rebuild)

The Dungeons tho... holy shit, they're deadly. Massive respawn, the reworked one, I haven't been able even w a lvl 80 to reliably fully clear it - so far I just re-raided it to get the slave girls but haven't fought my way to archdemon again.

I'm learning more and more about the dev and while I am still impressed with his work I find that his limitations are being put more in the spotlight every new build. It really seems like this is more of a learning project for him now more than it used to. When(if) the project finally gets completed it will not be that far from what it is right now according to his own words. He never intended for it to be loaded with quests and a rich story. That's all just supposed to be mild filler. The bulk of the game is just supposed to be survival and exploration, which is fine too. I like to just fuck around with some games not be pressured into doing shit. But I can also imagine what it would be like if this game was bug free and had an interesting story to it with loads of both main and side quests much like Elder Scrolls games.
Animopron started making his Lara Croft game many years ago and when he introduced the concept I was eager to just have Lara running around fucking anything she wanted to. It didn't turn out that way, but thats kinda what this game is, but without the sex encounter control I was hoping for. Still... not many games provide that desire to just do what you want like this game does. And I'm also thinking if it wasn't for the character creator allowing us to make really good looking characters then I might not feel exactly the same.
