That’s why a fairly famous game here, like House Party, recently moved all its +18 content to a paid DLC.
I don't know what your definition of recent is, but that happened over three and a half years ago, and it wasn't because of any kind of adult content crackdown, it was because they wanted the game to be more visible. AO games aren't generally promoted as much as non-AO games, which leads to lower sales.

You’re right, I thought they had just made it paid now. Either way, the point remains the same. They would have had to make it that way now because of the new rule they’ve implemented. My bad for not checking. Since I’ve always downloaded it either from here or from another site, I never saw a DLC for the +18 content, let alone a paid one, until now when I looked. But seeing the Steam reviews, they put it up around 2022.

Even so, my argument is the same everyone is going to have to go through that one way or another, or they’ll be removed from Steam. So really, it’s the same thing. But well, if you want to revoke the whole argument on that basis… fine, we’ll see what happens.

Dumb question but does anyone know when the next update drops I want to get back into this game but two things hold me back. Number one is lag which I hope becomes less and number two is the building just sucks well for me it does.

All I've seen is that their working on the building update, no word on when it will drop though.

They did drop a small performance update on Aug 25.

Do you know the difference between this version (F95) and the steam version ?
8.6.1 versus Steam - under Steam (and last version before Steam that did not get here) the Dragon got comparatively stabilised so now one can generally fly around without massive bugginess and crashes. Dungeon revamp for one Dungeon (which one I now forget) and apparently in Steam although I haven't myself tried some new aspects in dungeons. Some of the servants buggines semi-resolved - and some changes to armor and crafting systems.

Not huge changes overall but depending on one's preferences, real ones, so sticking w 8.6.1 for time being not missing out on anything huge - ex-Dragon which at least for me up to that version was unusable (either controls failing or game freezing). In itself there is not that much to do with the Dragon, flying around and a few castle spots that unless one has amazing jumping skill (achievable probably but I never did) one can't access but are not big deals.

I'm curious if there is a way to actually get to Skyfall alive and be able to return? Such as to ride the Dragon, or a Waystone?
EDIT: I found my way down through Skyfall, and now can access the Waystone there.

Don't forget you can build a makeshift bridge or staircase with wooden flooring, or actually build the stairs, to get just about anywhere. Just need wood.

recently started the game and have been doing some exploring. Does anyone know where to find iron or steel? Does that generate like copper does or do you find it in dungeons?

You mine iron ore and refine it in a forge to make ingots. In the map below notice the three dark areas around Graycott and you can find iron ore there, as well as in the western forest area and also inside Hollow Tunnels which is near the starting location. Be warned as dungeons are full of monsters that are not easily dispatched by low level players. However, there may be a few deposits accessible before you reach any monsters tho, not exactly sure. You can also find Dark Iron ore in there, but unless you are already using more advanced pick axes and have plenty of extra room I'd hold off mining any of that. You can always get some later.

I think there are some deposits in Maiden's Last Rest, but thats on the southern area of the map and likely won't need any by the time you get to it or just use the other locations more easily.

You mine Brimstone which is found in the desert near the starting location (looks like large bronze crystals) and use it with Iron ingots in the forge to make steel ingots. You can further develop this into Dark Steel when you find Dark Iron ore, which is required for Dark Steel weapons, but that will come later.

Oh wow, thanks. I legitimately wasn't expecting a detailed explanation like this but I'm quite grateful for it.
