Fun times!

That is still better than some bugs this game has had. The most common ones were people getting corrupted saves when they tried interacting with the dragon and watching an hour or two of labor fall through the map when you were trying to build a house, with bonus points for the game dropping storage chests along with building sections through the map.

This game has been "interesting times" at various times. It is a lot better now than it has been at some points, but it still has some fairly frustrating bugs that randomly creep into a build.
Yes, and there is still some work ahead. I am just testing and suggesting.

I think the gettting pushed through a wall in Dungeon really cropped up after last build or prior where they were trying to solve -I am deducing - the monsters getting stuck in walls bug. and opened up this.

If the player character wears armor when she gets defeated and the sex animation plays then there are missing faces on the body (missing parts of the legs, mostly). Just mentioning...

yes- has been a severe bug since the last update (occured occasionally prior but now it's near systematic).
discord comms say new update "soon" this month. Hopefully they'll solve this (if only for their own marketing on Steam)

Not necessarily.
To change you current character appearance you can create a new character and save it as a preset.
Then load you current game, open cheat menu (/ key) and load your new character preset.
That doesn't answer my question. I want to know how to get Black Hair for my character. I did it once, but lately can't get anything but a lighter brown.

just checking back...though i very highly doubt it has...

has the dev ever fixed the graphics at some point? y'know...to where the character models AREN'T tied to the graphics preset model?

so that it's possible to play with actual character models instead of basic geometric shapes at medium or lower?

cause while i would like to play this game...i don't want my pc to MELT just to see the character models more advanced than a rectangular CUBE penetrating a girl.

That just sounds so wrong. It makes me imagine some 'evil baby crib' with a mouth full of jagged teeth.
I know what it means, that the baby item is actually removed from inventory now when creating a servant, but but it just strikes me as funny AND wrong at the same time.

OH. SNAP.

I hope they adjusted the requirements for making things like armor or building costs. The new game world is going to be a barren wasteland if the most common building/crafting materials no longer spawn in the game.

Ha - I didn't originally click on the nursery language but you're right, it sounds very wrong.... in a funny way.

The Rocks, Ore & Trees not respawning (as discussion in Discord seemed to say, you harvest once and that's it) strikes me as a Really Dumb Choice. Slowing respawing I can see and agree with but no longer respawing given the item requirements is a seriously bad choice.

I see from discussion for example that now Bread requires you first generate flour and then to do bread you use flour plus a stone! (wtf? stone as a consumable??)

the apparent changes on the food and inputs and various other new harvestables seem potentially interesting but the choice on the mining and lumbering (is that a word?) is just very strange - seems like a huge over-reaction to perhaps game progression concerns (slowing respawing to me could be quite sensible since I was myself clear-cutting the wood near my house, and then next AM clear-cutting again to generate kooky amounts of wood reserves for... well not really any good reason now that think about it given Free Build now, but from vague silly plan to build a bridge across to the dragon island just because...)

@ZazaOres, rocks and trees should not be able to respawn after harvesting the resources, but there is a bug that makes them respawn when loading a save.
Plants does respawn as before, that's normal

Afraid you just have to fuck around with the colour slider until you end up with the result you want

The stone to make bread could be that the Dev is thinking of cooking stones. Cooking stones are a thing, so requiring a stone to cook some things isn't totally foreign to me.
BUT, cooking stones are not a "one time use and then you throw it away and get a new one" kind of thing. Something like that would be akin to making pickaxes 1 time use items.

I wouldn't have a problem with longer respawns on resources like that as well. But, making things like that never respawn sounds like a really bad idea.

I'm sorta left scratching my head with some of this as well. Its hard to imagine whats going thru the devs mind sometimes, but I can tell you it aint the same shit going thru my mind.

Also, as Ramirod has said there has been some discussion about this in discord. I rarely visit that place, but after reading about the limited resources change I had to see if this was going to be like stamina regen, meaning I'll be the solo opposition to it in that place. But it seems others are pushing back on it to some extent. Not sure if any of that will get much momentum, but maybe it will all pan out in the end. After all, remember the worry about base lighting when crystals were added to the evercoal recipe? Well now that worry is unwarranted completely as all the decor lighting is easy to craft and works like an on/off switch making it easier to light up a base at night than ever before. I didn't see that one coming so maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised again. I'm just trying to be optimistic first because there are some other interesting things in that changelog as well. Being able to get a stamina regen buff just from eating food sounds interesting for example.

It would be nice if the dev talked a bit about these types of changes and why he wants to add them since it affects so much because I'm sorta left here scratching my head at the direction he takes sometimes. I've archived every version of this game since 8.5.4 because this is not uncommon behavior in 3d game devs. Sometimes reverting to or simply staying in an older version of the game can be a better option.
