Technically, there is a function which would be able to do this, but it is not implemented yet. If you press "F" key (by default) there are a number of options from which to choose, each goes deeper into its menu. If you choose "Build" you can see the "Move" option there as well as "Not Implemented".
You are stuck, for now, with moving items manually and deleting. I should warn you about the deleting part. When you try to delete something that you built in a previous play session there is a chance of a crash. Deleting things as you go in the same play session doesn't seem to cause anything (and gives back resources), but so far I've crashed 4 times from trying to delete something I built previously (which doesn't give back resources). Meaning, build save quit reload delete crash. Don't be afraid to delete, just save often and especially before you start deleting old shit.
Ah yes - I had puzzled on why deleting something did not give back resources sometimes, but indeed those were older builds from a saved session and not in that session. I have had some freezes which probably related to that
Must be an effect of everything being rebuilt in some fashion when a save is loaded since it also resets spawns and similar.

I had forgotten about Build in F menu, pity for time being.

Bozo question - Dragon = Drake (relative to the Quest? [I know Drake and dragon are synonyms usually but from game PoV to be sure...]
They are not synonyms in all cases. Some literature refers to Drake as Dragon, some refers to Drake as a beast. Some refers to Drakes as humanoid, slightly bigger than men, having descended from dragons.

(Drakes are also male ducks.)

Bozo Answer -> Dragon is to feral as Drake is to furry, so Dragon =/= Drake

But seriously, there is a dragon that's sitting at the top of mountain on the southern peninsula. While they are synonyms in some forms of media, I think under the game's context, it would seem more appropriate to call a drake a dragonborn rather than a dragon; especially when one such dragon exists in-game.

Also, there's this little lore bit:
Dragons
Not much is known of the dragons except for their immense power and long lifespan.

Few humans have been known to communicate directly with dragons. Their interests rarely concern the world outside their own and their natural habitats are mountain tops all but impossible to reach.

Drakes are the historical ambassador between dragons and humans. In ancient times humans presented concubines to be seeded by dragons. Their offspring where the first Drakes. The bridge between the world of dragons and humans. But as human ambition expanded at the expense of other races the dragons withdrew their support and the Drakes disappeared from the human world until the war began.

...so they are definitely different here.
