how do you have sex in the first place? I just started and every monster just attacks and kills me
in Settings...... enable defeat sex .......in the interface setting assign a hotkey to the radial menu
hit apply each time for it to take effect ......after that you should be able to use the radial menu to masturbate near the monsters and get them to fuck you ...or if you get beat down and lose to the monster they should rape you .........note (the normal looking animals like BEARS and wolves scorpions and wasps are not sex-able creatures ..they will just try to kill you )

Are any of the animations working? I havent touched the game since 8.4.3 and the animations worked in that one, but the models for the monsters just turn into a jumbled mess of polygons in this version. The werebear kinda worked but was off center, but the werewolf one is super messed up. It turns the wolf into just a ball of textures. Is this a known issue for this version, or a me thing?

Crafting and gathering in this game is fucking obnoxious. I see you tried replicating what Valheim did with food buffs, but in that game food buffs last up to half an hour, not five fucking minutes. This game is absolutely not worth playing until the core mechanics are more fleshed out because right now they're an absolute mess.

Checked the valheim wiki and adjusted the food buffs to be closer to those values, will be in the next update.

the duping thing is happening again about level 28 any containers you have you start noticing missing items if you hit take all it floods your inventory with copies and overloads you it happens on the furnace and the crafting table and any chests you made ....
Another thing if you make summons and then save when you return to the game you are no longer in control of them and they treat you like an enemy

the sex animations are also a mess they worked better in the last version in this one its a toss up at best

To be fair, being bi/trilingual+ is common in Europe, (and some other parts of the world), where you've got like 50 countries crammed into a tiny space, whereas the US (plus Alaska, not pictured) is basically bigger than all of Europe combined and our biggest land border with another country (Canada) also primarily speaks English.
I think it's really, REALLY uncommon for people to realize just how big the US is. You could probably cram the entire UK, Ireland and maybe Italy all inside Texas alone.

There's almost no incentive to learn any other languages here, outside of maybe Spanish, unless you work a job that regularly involves flights to other countries.


Sucks to see this post and the bug post above yours, I returned to the thread after all this time to try out this game for the first time since shortly after it released, and I had the trash-tier luck of returning just in time for the game to break, hah.
I'll probably still skim the thread to see if it's worth playing the pre-broken version, or if I should wait, though.
Last I played the game, I think maybe it had one sex scene? It was like, a little testing jail dungeon area thing, then stepping outside to a tiny grassy area or something, and the whole thing felt like "Unreal Indie Game v0.0.2", made with one of UE's presets and a handful of stock assets.

TBH I'll just give it a week or two and try again.
This game was always broken and probably always will be, there was no point in time that something worked flawlessly in this game at all, so dont get your hopes up, and /or you didnt miss much.

Entering Isabelle's tower is causing all preceding quests to be marked completed every time, resulting in massive lag that eventually makes leaving/entering impossible.

Got myself a full bronze armor set + bronze spear and I still get bodied by werewolves most of the time, I try to parry but it doesn't seem to work, and dodging locks you in place after the roll and feels awful, do I just cheese the game with the bow and arrow or is there a proper way to handle melee combat?

Nothing works, it's all broken.
I love the fact that if you slash at all, or unequip a weapon to punch it'll still drain durability from your tools.

So, good news, quest progress seem to be working properly with saves, good job, man. Bad news: anytime you load in and out of island (going to tower/dungeon and back) world seem to dupe/multiply things in containers and makes whole thing chuggy af. Might want to take a look at it, not sure but could be due to entity preloading or whatnot. Keep up a good work, hope to see this thing working well one day.
