Isnt the newest version supposed to be v0.8.5.9, yet we got a "v0.8.5.6"? I'm pretty sure that version was never even mentioned in this thread and the versions jumped from .5 to .7 to .9. Is that a typo, or is the .6 some cut down public version?

You are correct. I found it odd that it was recently updated to 8.5.6 when there is a link for 8.5.7 just a page or two back, maybe three pages by now.

Are you on 0.8.5.8 or later versions? If you are, I think you can only find sand in the desert area. The desert area is right next to the starting area.
If you are on 0.8.5.7 and earlier versions, you can find sand in almost any area with trees. It will look like a white/yellow mound on the ground and you just need to get close and press E to harvest it like any other resource you can pick up.

Sorry that doesn't help me, WHAT gives me sand, I know where

It usually found in places with trees you will see a heap or mound of sand near the small forest in the starting area and similar places around the map.
I don't have any picture of it right now.
Honestly, it does not make any sense but whatever ¯\(ツ)/¯ .

Or put another way - where you see small mounds of yellow stuff like lumps (usually in the woods area) that's the sand and you go up and if the pointer is on it [E] will allow you to pick up.

My "harvesting" mode has often been whenever running about I spam away on [E] and randomly pickup whatever it allowed me - ended up now with a ridiculous Harvest skill, 20 something I guess.

Not entirely sure if those Skill levels effect anything beyond contributing to the overall up-skilling to get more hearts for more sex resistance (only thing I have really cared about to be honest).

Latest to be posted on main page is .6 but .7 is in a post in the thread - it is just that there is a delay between main page update upload and what is latest on Subscribestar depending on subscriber mood to leak (personally I don't whine about this since I am not usually a subscriber and for the very rare occasional game I do subscribe to I don't leak because the bitchy whining from the leaches puts me off ever leaking, I follow my own rule on just waiting w/o whining but everyone to their own)

And to quote the 8.5.7 share which worked fine for me [about 1 month ago]
8.5.7 Full version. The dev plans on having the demo and full version maps the same in the very near future.

Allow me to highlight the important part.

Reading comprehension seems to be a bit beyond your grasp, so here is a picture that, HOPEFULLY, will assist you with identifying the object you need to pick up to gain SAND.

They do have an effect beyond leveling your character.
If you hover the cursor over the skill in question (and the stat as well), it will give a small pop up that describes what it does. For Harvesting, I think it increases the quantity of an item that you harvest, by 1% per level.
All of the skills are grouped under certain stats (Might, Endurance, ...) and for every 10 points in a skill 'group' it adds 1 point to that stat. Each point of a particular stat will add bonuses to your character, such as Might, which increases your carry capacity by +10 for each point of Might that you have.

Grazi grazi signore! I suspected something like this but didn't know to check via the hover.

There is actually more that these stats apply to than is listed in this description, but its not clearly stated. At least some of them. For example, if you gain Might as you said it is applied to carry weight capacity as the description says. However, it also increases your overall damage output, but doesn't state that anywhere. Other stats likely do more than it says as well, but I haven't been able to discern what it would be exactly.
There are also other skills that are not on the list that get increased like Farming with plots. During pregnancy and afterward with "Motherhood" there are increased stats that are not part of the stat list as well.
I've always deemed "Grace" as the most important attribute to increase for damage output, but at level 20 Grace would be capped if the description is accurate. However, there could be critical resistance embedded in the stats which would make something above level 20 Grace advantageous. Otherwise anything over 20 is waste.
I might just ask discord if there is any info about this because it has been a matter of curiosity for a while now.

It wouldn't surprise me to find out that the stats affect multiple things. I never really thought about it, but it does make sense. I wonder if other skills are just not listed due to the limited display space for where the skills are listed.
I just hope it isn't one of those things where the Dev just wants to have hidden stats in the game, that is always one of those things that annoys the heck out of me in any game.

I just hopped into the game to look at my stats and to remind myself what Grace added (Crit Chance), when I noticed that my stats are not lining up with what I thought how they were boosted.
My character has 17 Might, but when I add up the totals of all the levels of the skills, I only come up with 97, so either there are other skills that are not listed, that are adding to that total or some skills count for more than 1 point per level. So far, my other stats are pretty much in line with what I said about +10 skill levels equaling 1 stat point, but those other skills are in pretty low states, mostly 1-4 for all of them.

If you find anything out, it would interesting to know.

The only places I have found sand weren't in the Desert area at the start. You didn't need to be a prick. It's okay though, I found some in the meantime so I at least know where some is now not that you even need it for as much as I thought.

Hi guys, I don't know if this topic is on previous pages, but...I have a problem when I start the game.
I get this message: This CPU does not support a required feature (SSE4.2).
But I think I have it installed...any advice? Thanks for your attention!! ;)

Anyone else getting aditional Isabells spawned when they save & load ?
Yes, that happens in the demo version. I eventually had crashing problems when too many Isabells were spawned in. Its supposed to be fixed in the new version and I believe the demo was just updated to the new version so you might try it out.

...why do you think you have it installed? It's a CPU feature so your CPU either has it or it doesn't.

yeah ongoing problem, hit and miss

Game really is not bad BUT fully agree on misgoals: Collecting seed by killing monsters instead of having a blowjob mode... why? Sex as the mode rather than defeat sex is a lot more sensible - if I wanted to play a combat game, I'd play that, a polished one.
I've also been getting annoyed with these projects, especially UE5: it seems like the developers are so fascinated with the pre-made combat mechanics that they leave aside the H part of the game. With each update, it becomes more and more full of bugs. All the games that seem to have a real H script, when I research it, I see that it's VN - Ren'Py. This is very frustrating...
