Can anyone tell me if the dialogue had any rework done since a few releases ago? I remember it being excruciatingly bad with weird phrasing and broken english.

I'm sorry man but...... this game every update get worse with issues. Some updates with a couple of dialogs and that's it and this one where you can't even use the map right. Good luck with the project, great models and a story that you can follow but its getting just so dull every update.

Had high hopes for this one, but it's turned into a visually-pleasing, slow-burning...DUMPSTER FIRE!
Little to no content each update, usually requiring a fix shortly after. Not bothering with another download until there's a "Completed" tag on it (IF that ever comes)

No not at this time and I don't think it ever will be.
The first year this game was moving kinda fast but for the last 2 years barely any new content at all and just about every update comes with lots of bugs that need to get fixed.

The "auteur" here seems to post about once a week on patreon, WTF are they actually doing? When was actual content added to the game last? When was the last time the update wasn't a broken mess that didn't even launch for half the people trying it?

It's like this was a team effort and anyone with any talent or ability got fed up and left after the first months.
