I think people don't like REFINE/remastered/remake for simple reason, lack of contents compare to previously. I know the contents eventually catch up in the end, people just need to chill for several months. Just see every game with patreon model that goes doing remake, complains everywhere in the beginning. The one who I see does best is Harem Hotel, they add contents but also on the side slowly remake old scenes.

..3 abandoned games....and a almost abandoned completed one.....

...we got devs droppin updates every 2 weeks on here....
...and some devs with 20+ games completed....
Those 20+ games are image viewers comic reader visual novels.
Creating a linear story is not as hard as creating a real game with mechanics, UI and on top of that the hardest parts: balancing and fun to play.
And all that takes time, not just 2 weeks.

I mean... is the refine that bad? I played the first iteration of the game and I actually liked it ...
but this one seems to have less content even in it's "completed" state than the first abandoned version...

What about the 3 no data scene in the gallery yet, will there be a follow up? I think that is meant for the 3 oirans (Izayo, Kaede, Satsuki) who don't have prostitution scene yet, which Saka Yura Fudeyo and Mei already have in the gallery but dev decided to complete it
Thats pretty funny. I guess I have to get back to this - finished the original, so was waiting for this to complete.

So, dev actually abandoned this game, but did not wanted to get another abandoned game on the list and just changed game version from 0.15 to 1.1.0 and placed "Complete" tag?
That's what "axing" a product is in a nutshell: You complete it but it feels incomplete.
Think the developer links in OP need to be removed? The discord is gone for sure, its not in my list anymore.

After having played for maybe 15 hours or so, I quite like this one.
I downloaded it because I seemed to remember it, that might have been the original version or a very early version of this.
Looking at the ratings, it seems quite controversial and I'm not sure why.
Making the engine work like this seems like it was genuine effort.
The the old version, from the images I've seen, looked more complex? I'm not even sure what the differences are.
Seems this is effectively abandoned as well, but I'll still continue through what there is.
Though looking at the past patch notes, it might not be long. Kinda sad.

The old game was more complicated, especially battles. And loss of the girl's skill points if skill wasnt used on customers for some time.
Kaede is very buggy. I've put her to study for like 5 days and her stats don't go above F-. And whenever i chose her to work night services, her portrait option is not there
