You don't need to wait. There's no obligation for anyone.
If you wonder why it takes time for updates; I have a full-time job, a family, and social life. This is something I do in my 'free time', which is scarce. I try to be upfront about this, perhaps it's missed by some. Another consideration is; writing takes a lot longer than reading.
I'll get some sort of release out in Jan if you can bear to wait for free content...

If we go off the patreon (which we have to because of this shit: Release Date: 2020-09-05; dishonestly changing the release date in the OP to make it look like the game was newly released), this game has been in production, on patreon, for over 2 years. Taking peoples money. Over 400 a month and over 100 patreons right now. And it money locks the latest version.
So while I think the way the guy worded his post was rude, I don't think its unreasonable to ask what the fuck is taking too long, or to question the answer that essentially boils down to 'was busy lol'.
400 a month over 12 months is nearly 5k. Doubt he's been at 400 the entire time. Maybe he had more in the past, maybe less, but either way it'll be a lot of fucking money for basically 0 progress in a game where he doesn't actually have to hire any artists or anything like that to help him. I think he hired a coder though.
Like, if there was no patreon, so it was ACTULLY a fully free game, I'd be fully behind him on his post of ''was busy lol, wait for free shit''. But that's not the case. And there's posts from years ago on his patreon of people asking where the progress is with 0 answer from the dev, so I can't blame random guy, if he's a patron, from getting annoyed.
This is a htlm game with stolen pictures of porn stars 2 + years in the making the guy is being paid a considerable amount of money to make and it's not even halfway to version 1.
That's just kind of sad.

This game is, without a doubt, the hottest game I’ve played. It definitely fills a much needed niche. Hoping to see some bug fixes and another update soon. Plus I’m curious as hell what’s in store for the “gym” route.
Hoping soon. I wrote and helped code a small side quest for Akabur (Star Channel 34). I’d happily offer my help to Crayman for free if it expedited the updates, but I have zero experience with this game’s platform so most likely I’d just get in the way.
i wholeheartedly agree. Was supporting him from day 1 and amount of content is abysmal.
The premise is hot but as you stated its game made with porn gifs and text yet it takes forever with the updates and its always the most buggy html game i have ever played. stopped supporting him in november.

Will test v0.4 later. I won't leak it as it's pointless leaking a version that isn't finished/may have bugs.
Edit: Found a couple of bugs, the dev is already aware of these. The game has been pretty much rebuilt, there's a new engine, UI, task tracker etc. The game has been optimised so from 800mb to around 250mb.
