Being a huge fan of Haikyu I just picture the MC as Tobio Kageyama. It fits so well, he's a volleyball idiot. Personal life be damned, he lives and breathes the game. Not intentionally a dick, it's just everything else most people care about he's oblivious to like girls. The MC here is so similar, I'm sure once he realizes the pleasures of all of that will vastly change him and this is a great what if scenario for me to see played out.
