Really great game, liked the characters a lot. Didn't try it for a long time because i'm not into sport storylines but the game is so much more then that. Its more about character development and growth I think. Also there is so much of content, and each update so far really pushes the story forward, not much filler and hours of story content. Looking forward to the Fiona plot in the next update.

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all having a great day and month so far! Here to give you a bit of update regarding the progress for chapter 3.

It's been... Going a bit slow these last 2 weeks, to say the least. Not because I haven't been working on it, I actually am, but because I keep writing and rendering the scenes only to keep scrapping them for a better idea (Happened three times...). And unfortunately because of this, there wasn't much progress compared to my previous dev log, so I apologize about that. Good news is, I was finally able to overcome that slump, so it's going a lot smoothly now. I should be able to get a substantial amount of progress by the end of the month.

Currently, the progress is at 670 images and 18.5k words.

Next is, I'd like to announce that a French translation is now available. Really big thanks to them as they took a huge amount of time and effort to make it. Big credits to Hem for the translation and Ermiance for proofreading and corrections. The french translation are now available in itch, and in the pinned post here in Patreon. Hello!

It's with great pleasure that I'm offering you today a translation patch for French speakers for chapters 1 and 2 of Wild Cats! I've been working on this patch for several weeks with the permission of the creator Lopaphi, which I thank here . I wanted it to be as close as possible to the original version.
Even though some choices had to be made and some puns couldn't be translated with the same dose of humor as the English version, I think the alchemy works well.
But I'm convinced there are still things that can be improved and that mistakes still creep in. So please feel free to give me feedback on these translations so that I can improve the patch as needed! You can find the downloadable patch here:

To install it, simply unzip the ZIP and copy the entire "french" folder into the "tl" folder in "WildCats-0.2-pc\game\tl" along with the other language folders. Installation instructions are also in a "readme.txt" file inside the ZIP, if needed. I hope you enjoy this patch for loyal fans of the game, and a very enjoyable experience for those new to the game.

I am willing to wait that long in case the story's quality remains the same. The only thing I criticize was (at least in the last update) the graphic's quality: Lack of sharpness, often too dim, too grizzle, too matt and no strong colors. And pleeeaaase: A porn VN/AN should have more sex.

Kinda hard to have more sex scenes when only one of them would be remotely alright with having sex with the MC. The rest (for the vast majority) just hates the shit outta him.

Think you're a fair few updates away from more sex scenes.

You are right and wrong at the same moment. No sex scenes should be forced, especially not in that early state of the story, but a porn VN in that forum without any sex? Well, then "Wild Cats" is here at the wrong place ...

Eh, there are a few games here that have no sexual content at all, so I wouldn't say that it's in the wrong place.
It's just a very slow burn compared to a lot of other games given how antagonistic all the LI's started out as, but it'll come around in a few updates I'm sure.

i just hope this doesn't turn out to be one of those games that takes 5 years to complete.

Wild cats is the only VN i have actually read through without skipping through, most other games just bore me at some point.

Well it will take 5 years. Almost a year since the release and we don't even have a full team. We'll probably have to count on one or two more updates before we have everyone on board, and then the school year continues. Unless the dev plans to finish the game as soon as the team is formed, we're here for a long time

Yes. I am afraid it will have the Waifu-Academy-speed and that will mean more than 7 years (until now, about three more years until the end).
