Would have to say i'm really liking the game.

Every character has a distinct personality and a life of their own rather than "big tits" and "slightly bigger tits with pigtails" and even the character models aren't "i took the basic model and played around with height and width sliders" that you see in a lot of other games. Honestly looking forward to what the story has in store next.

Also, just to be sure... Is there an issue with going Romantic with multiple people or or will that have consequences further down the line as half the team is still trying to get along with the others? I vaguely recall the game making a comment on this but i'm not sure whether something of that nature is planned.

Also, if Bianca isn't going to be an LI i'd like to hook her up with Cliff, girl's been working overtime to look out for Zoe and it'd be nice to do something for her in return.

If you open the "Genre" spoiler on the game's profile page, and then the "Planned" spoiler inside that, you can see that this is intended as a harem game. So it's unlikely that there will be any major issues with pursuing all girls at once.

Yeah, it's just that tags are a summary at best. A harem tag just says a harem is (or will be) possible, but that does not necessarily mean MC wouldn't get any flak for trying to form said harem, or having to navigate through a minefield of possessive LIs all having feelings for MC and tolerating one another at best.

I mean, the girls have been wonderfully consistent so far and a lot of MC's time and energy is going towards just getting them to show up for training, so... i would say that MC going for a harem has a pretty fair chance of causing trouble.

There are two things i'd like to mention though:

- It would be nice if it were made a little more obvious when a change in relationship status occurs. Last i played was 0.2, and the only way i could tell a LI went from 'Hates my guts' to 'Acquaintance' or 'Romantic' or whathaveyou was when checking the list. Maybe just have it appear on the top right somewhere and then fade away after a second or two?

- This only happens twice i believe (Lexi and Saki?), but when MC has a girl sleep over in his room he decides to sleep at his desk. I understand that crawling in there on a one-person mattress can be a bit problematic, but MC has a perfectly functional bunk bed in his room. Why wouldn't he just sleep on the top bunk? Was it a single bed at the time those scenes were written and it got changed to a bunk bed later?

yeah i definitely dont think this will be a standard harem game where all the girls are fine with it. honestly wouldn't fit with the writing of the game anyways

I always assumed that the unused bed was used as a storage space for clothes, etc., so that stuff wouldn't be lying around on the floor.

I haven't played a lot of AVNs so I don't know if there's more of this, but shoutout to LopaPhi for having LIs have body marks or beauty marks on their bodies. In most of the AVNs I played, all the LIs have very smooth skin so seeing Eve and Lexi is a breath of fresh air.

i know people have complained about it, but i also really love the washed out, soft visuals of the game. it just fits the aesthetic in a way that sharper visuals wouldnt imo

I agree! From what I've seen it's a hardware issue and LopaPhi said he recently got an upgrade so it'll be closer to the image quality people expect going forward which I think is a bit of a shame.

But that's just how it is, I guess. Some people really like the Laserdisk quality images you see in older movies when it's actually washing out and blurring the intended vision the creators had for the video, so you lose it with improved tech and rereleases.

Pretty good game so far. I'm liking the designs of the girls and the sex scenes are quality. The writing shows talent and the character stories are ambitious, which I always like. However, there's definitely some disconnect between what the author intends for us to think about the MC versus what gets shown.

Aside from him almost slapping the shit out of Eve, there's nothing incredibly offensive that the MC's said or done which lives up to the warning given at the beginning. At least half of the characters he meets are just massive dickheads off-rip, so when the story turns around and paints the MC as the absolute worst person to walk the earth it just kinda loses me.

Like, okay, the MC's wrong for calling Zoe lazy and spoiled (even though she was talking mad shit first, but whatever) but by the sixth time it gets brought up to make him feel bad for saying it I just rolled my eyes. Don't get me started on the MC apologising to Fiona for HER punching HIM.

And it's such a shame because the Saki story has that same initially antagonistic vibe too, but its development and resolution are done so convincingly. Maybe because the author's willing to call out her shitty behaviour more frequently? I don't know, but she's much more sympathetic than Zoe and Fiona are, despite being more of a mess.

Hmm... I've actually interpreted that as being due to whatever happened with the previous coach. My guess is he tried to sexually assault one of the volleyball girls and got his ass (rightfully) kicked for it, but the school kept it quiet (avoid reputation damage) and the manager got Fiona to agree to play the bad guy. As a result, the girls would react to MC as having very low expectations, on top of MCs own inferiority complex (there are three yes/no choices on whether to give up right out of the gate) which kind of fuel one another: Zoe playing 'hard to get' in the manager's room is completely misinterpreted by MC because of MC's issues.

Important to mention that not all girls would be aware what really went down, aside from 'Fiona brought a bunch of guys to beat the former coach up'. Eve still goes to training, Lexi never really planned on signing up and Zoe i think had her father keep that information hidden from her. I really can't think of any other reason why a student would still be in school after beating the shit out of a teacher, and this isn't the kind of game where you'd expect an asspull. So in that scenario, the former coach either went after Fiona herself, or someone Fiona was trying to protect. Maybe Saki (who has the same issues as MC in never feeling like they're good enough), but i doubt it, so maybe a student we haven't yet heard about that left school that year?

(sorry if Zoe's dad isn't actually the school's manager, couldn't for teh life of me remember what it was and felt it was manager)

Heya everyone!

Hope you've all been well. Time for my bi weekly report on the development for chapter 3. These past 2 weeks have been very productive. I focused primarily on animating this week, and boy I think I've outdid myself with them. They might honestly some of best animations I've made yet. And each are no less than 20 seconds. Excited for you all to see them once they're done.
I'm finishing up the scene as we speak. Renders and animations already coded in the game. All I need to do next is put some words in it. In any case, here's the status for chapter 3 so far:

• 32k words
• 13 animations
• 1200 renders/images

We're almost at the last stretch. If I'm going to give an estimate, I think the chapter should be around 75% done. I still have a few more scenes I still need to do before it's completed. I hope you'll all be patient with me for just a bit longer.
