Lexi has taken up a significant portion of the plot. She has two CG and helped the MC rediscover the joy of playing volleyball. However, when I first met her, she was just too frivolous. I am sure we will see her play, and to be fair, I kinda agree with Johan decision to not let her play. Yes is not that "bad" yet, but there is that mental blockage that's stopping her, beside the other medical issues.

She is an athlete, she knew when to stop before it was to late unlike the MC, and now she will be extra careful for that to not happen again I am sure. Beside if you have a mental blockage to overcoming that you have to change your mentality that it seems she already did after her talk to the MC, and second you have to get confidence again by playing.

Most AVN follow that progression, and IRL, I know it isn't true for everybody but for most people oral sex is something more intimate than let's say vaginal sex, and there's lot of people that don't even do it, I'm a fan of oral sex so I'm glad most AVNs do it though
