As a guy who studied writing, this one is really good, so good that actually pisses me of because in some moments it could be perfect by just adding one thing, one word in the phrase or a different camera angle. But as a someone else's work we have to respect it.

This is decent. Characters are charming. Dialogue can be a little cringy "Wolves hunting a Dragon." Super anime in a bad way.
That said, there's also moments that are pretty anime in the writing in a good way. Gets away from some of the shittier tropes that AVNs that just rip off each other tend to have.
That said, really hated the option to give Eve a headpat. It's also super anime, in a bad way. That's not how people actually interact, nobody just gives another adult a headpat, it's super condescending. If it has to be in the game for the weebs that are into it then it should at least be something he does after getting a little closer to her.

I have to say, any game that you see using HoneySelect, there's like 99% chance they will have anime troupes in it, just as a heads-up.

Not saying you're wrong, but MC is really inept at anything social, the head pat is just one of those things he do.
About the cringe writing, as someone that doesn't like animes or AVNs with humor and comedy I love this one, I think it doesn't go over board with the cringe stuff, and when it does I would say it mostly lands.
I think this AVN borrows more from anime than other AVNs, and even if most animes are cringe and have mediocre writing, this is even more true for AVNs.

Every sports speeches are cringe when youre look at them from the outside and depending on your perspective.
Its meant to hype up the people involved and usually these people want to get hyped up
i guarantee you if you would listen to real life football coaches before a match you would consider it cringe too which isnt wrong per se but as i said a matter of perspective.
But yeah there are obviously anime tropes, i consider them rather tame compared to most hs avns tho

The writing is good because it isn’t trying to over the top. Any “cringe” moments feel intentional and tied to the MC’s social awkwardness. Tropes are expected, but so far I haven’t seen Lopa push anything to an excessive level, imo.
