Hi, I'm sorry if this was asked before, but has anyone tried to play this game in JoiPlay? I have installed all the plugins (except for Ren'Py 7.1.3 since my phone doesn't support it) but somehow, the game keeps closing whenever I open it. Am I doing something wrong?

Still thinking about Wild Cats. Still haven't found anything remotely close to capturing the essence of the game.

Along with a couple of others such as Myth of Slayer, MBIML, Sicae, Dropout Saga, Eternum, Ripples, Cozy Cafe etc. These games barely have anything controversial, but are able to explore topics in a way that doesn't deviate from the players' expectations. They're basically as close to vanilla an AVN can be, not in the traditional sense, but in a way that is focused on the MC (in the case of the games I've mentioned, a male protag), him building a relationship with all of the main girls without the Dev "spicing" it up.

A lot of other AVNs I've played try to reinvent the wheel by deviating from certain tags, or trying to mishmash tags that don't belong together thinking it'll all work out. Which ultimately ends up messing up the game in my opinion (of course).

That being said, I'm interested to see the practice game that's about to happen, which I'm assuming is in the next update for Wild Cats?

I would assume the practice game is next update, or at least the build up for it, training, etc
Talking about others games in a game thread is frowned upon, but from that list is clear you like honey select games :ROFLMAO:

Yeah I do like HS games, and I try to look for them as much as I can. And yeah my post will probably end up getting deleted for mentioning other games. But Wild Cats just scratched that itch I've been looking for, for a while now. That I had to at least talk about what I've been feeling because of this game.

Actually you're the lucky one, I'm picky as hell, I probably follow only 10 or 12 games, and 3 or 4 of them are abandoned or close to it :HideThePain:
I play Koikatsu and Daz 3D games from time-to-time. Koikatsu is a close second after Honey Select for me, cause it's got that more anime style, if I spot one, I'll try it out most of the time. And the Daz 3D games I honestly have never really gotten invested in them. I'd really honestly play those if I were in particular mood.

I'm more selective in writing/story/setting. Not saying good images don't matter to me ;) but is more secondary, I prefer realistic DAZ graphics, but some of my favorites including Wild Cats are honey select so yeah for me the graphic style is secondary.

The writing, characters, Animations everything is so good and i know the H scenes will come in due time. Well, I think they are about to lose by a lot in this practice game. After all his main focus has been on recruiting more than training them.

It's also basic sports fiction writing. Dominating out of the gate doesn't create conflict, it's a bad story. They're going to lose, there will be interpersonal conflict between at least two of the girls on the team, and the male lead is probably going to handle it poorly because they have to show he still has personal growth to go through.

Yeah, I think Saki is a good candidate for a crash out soon, since she's probably going to get targeted on that exhibition game.

I have a strong suspicion the fight in question will be between Saki and Zoe. Both are temperamental to put it lightly, and Zoe is a perfectionist while Saki has been openly stated to be the worst player by a wide margin. Zoe will criticize her playing, Saki's pride will make her retaliate even if she knows deep down that Zoe is right, and it will get personal. It's gonna be interesting to see how it's dealt with. Probably too soon for them to kiss and make up!
