Unreal Engine - Wild Life [2024.12.13 Full Build 1] [Adeptus Steve]

In short - it is not a playable game.
Wouldn't recommend it, unless you really want that sandbox poser with few hardcoded characters and animations, or wish to support the author on Patreon.

In long - it is not a beta stage yet:
- missing textures "to add later",
- empty world (because you only have a table and a stool asset to make a village look alive),
- bugs like sudden death on gently landing or stuck in some rock,
- placeholders in dialogs "NOT YET IMPLEMENTED",
- sketchy plot like "if quests are completed, talk to girl and select Act 2 answer, and teleport somewhere as she",
- erotic elements mostly "DIY in a sandbox room"

I can understand it is a free game, I can understand it is a large and difficult project, but 7 years is really too much for development, it is not Red Dead Redemption. Graphics are getting old and players are tired, Interest is vanishing. I think it is time to put an END and to release a final version. In the future they can always release Wild Life 2 or some dlc.

This game is an animation gallery.

That, on its own, isn’t entirely a bad thing in this industry. Similar titles can also be boiled down to simple time wasters that shuffle the player from scene to scene. What is inexcusable with Wild Life is just how long it has been so barebones with its content. Ever since the beginning, the game seemed to have the goal of being some sort of open world adventure game, with initial trailers centered around a primal girl named Maya that could sprout wings and fly across the map. Later, this vision shifted to a sci-fi male protagonist named Max, and even showcased an extremely janky intro featuring rudimentary combat.

All of this could be safely ignored if you want a quick wank, however. The one consistent feature Wild Life has ever had was a sandbox mode, where you can spawn in any characters you want and set them up in a variety of animations, prebuilt or customized. Thing is, this is THE only positive about the game. Several years of development and millions of dollars of funding has done little to move the project out of its perpetual pre-alpha state.

Maybe that’s fine. Wild Life is still one of the most profitable projects that came from the golden age of patreon, so obviously people like what they do. However, it’s hard to shake the feeling of it banking on bread and circuses to keep it afloat. Hopefully it becomes a legitimate game one day, but I can’t say that I have much faith in it myself.

I have no idea why this "game" is reviewed positively. It's been in the making for what... 7 years now? And it hasm't changed much since 2019. This product is nothing but a "Yeah, we release updates for it still, so keep subbed to our patreon" moneygrab.

The animations would justify it being 2* but the whole practice of intentionally dripfeeding questionable content, to keep draining money out of the fanbase doesn't justify a better rating than 1*.

Please steer clear of this animation gallery ripoff. Your wallet, your time, your harddrive and your sanity will thank you for it.

Very Hot and lewd, higher graphically, just bad about is like super slow , like an eternal updating, i hope one day the game is finished, is really an interesting hentai game, i have to check last updates, last time i played i missed alot possible features, btw Tysm Pepé Le Pew and F95 team

love it, there are loads of animations of a very high quality

only down side is that the story and gameplay arent really complete yet so i took off 1 star

This game has the potential to be the best in the adult gaming world. The physics and graphics are amazing. The narrative is non existant but i dont care about this for this particular game.

Excited to see the final release… likely a decade or more from now, once their Patreon has been thoroughly tapped.

This game is absolutely insane! After all these years, the progress they’ve made is unbelievable, and you can really tell the devs are going all out. The sandbox mode is packed with cool stuff to mess around with, and the updates keep getting better. Even though the main gameplay is still a bit short, it’s so much fun that you’ll want to play it again and again. The graphics? Next level! Yeah, it’s a big download, but that’s because they’re cramming it full of content. Seriously, if you’re into games that are evolving and improving all the time, this one’s a no-brainer. Can’t wait to see where they take it next!

Ooof. The 3 star rating I'm giving is a compromise between what this game is and what it sells itself as. As a sandbox character and scene sandbox? Top-tier, one of the best, with some animations and models putting it over Honey Select. But as an actual game? It's incredibly underwhelming, and I'm going to argue that the giant scope of the game backfired by making development less focused, as well as the fact that it naturally draws comparisons to non-h 3D games which have much more polish and content. Ultimately it's a mediocre standalone 3D fighter/RPG with top-tier sex scenes.

When this 'game' was born, it was going to be a fully featured RPG, with a storyline and an interactive world of characters. There was supposedly, a male and female single-player route through the game...I once invested in this hype, but never again...Wildlife isn't worth your time.

This isn't just a game—it's a scene poser, like Honey Select or other Illusion titles. But where those focus on character creation and customization, Wild Life cranks up the heat with the absolute best animations and physics in any porn game, period. Nothing else out there even comes close. This is the pinnacle of animated porn. If you want better, you'll have to dive into Blender and start making your own.

If you're here for the sex scenes and the sandbox, this is one of the best of its kind. Great animations, visuals and models, with lots of customization options. Don't expect a game with a story and all the rest, or you'll be disappointed.

The game's animations and visuals are top tier. I'm looking forward to more furryXfemale animations. They should add more clothing customization such as allowing you select the color of clothes and provide more casual non fantasy clothing.

Good open world sandbox. Not your typical renpy copy paste "game". It rocks, if you want incredible life-like graphics and animations, this is your game! it doesn't have a story and is similar to Virt-a-Mate. You can just load characters and make them have sex. There is customization like clothing, hair and body sliders.

Maybe its just me who dosent get it but reading the first page i expected this to be a game with a story? stupid me i guess?

You can click new game and you got 3 choices, wild life and 2 test areas so ofc i went for wild life, you start with an MC and get a few boring jobs like catch rabbits and shit, at chapter 3 not that i would really consider chapter the right word since they are just extremly short, in any case in chapter 3 you take controle of the MFC and fly around do a quest to check escape pods untill you find what your looking for, i did find some side quest i guess at one point but they where pointless since reward was getting cheaper items in the shop, but shop is not in game yet......
Then i went back to main base and it says chapter 4 for locked and something about heavy spoilers? so yeah i have no fucking clue whats going on and if your supposed to do something or go somewhere or whatever.

I saw 0 sex scenes and even getting 3 hearts with a nurse did nothing she never talked to MC after that?

"Game" has been in development for 7 years and theres about an hour worth of gameplay and no sex scenes, temted to say good job? lol

So what this really is, is a sandbox creator tool thing where you can place all kind of sex scenes and look at them, thats the main and only real content of this one, so yeah not a game in any way.

Animations looks very nice but if i wanted to look at animated and nothing else i would visit a porn site, so i cant really give any other rating then 1 star since theres no real content, its just a preview of characters in a empty sandbox creator thing.

This game offers a lot. Decent Graphics, nice characters with the option to make little changes to ones liking. The amount of animations is really nice, the controls over those animations are also very decent. The support for custom maps also something worth mentioning.

The game is absolutely hot and wild, all the models are made with love I assure that! So why then 4 stars and I'm answering it's because this game has been always in alpha development stage since 2017 and seems like it's never be finished whatever patreons Steve gets

Despite how long I've been following this project I'm surprised I havent left a review for it. I guess I've been waiting for it to get into a more reviewable state, whatever that could be, but whatever. This game seems to suffer from one major problem and that is the fact that it's constantly getting animated content and yet doesnt go anywhere at all. You'll see it constantly in the patch notes every time one drops. X amount of animations are added to the sandbox and the list on their drive continues to grow to a large degree and yet progress seems to never be made.

First and foremost the "game" part of this project is pretty heavily marketed in order to sell it and yet it's all but there. Seriously, go to any of their pages and thats the first thing you'll see. It's an open world survival game, go on an adventure with Maya and Max, it's a survival game with combat elements, etc etc. They NEVER mention that 90% of this game is purely just an aimless sandbox with superb animation and models. If it was simply marketed as a sandbox I feel like it wouldn't be as well known or popular but at the very least the demographic would be more specific and the disappointment would be far less. Sure there are some test quests and a very bare bones proof of concept gameplay with some basic combat and such but it seems to just be completely still and never really improves. At one point it was a village in the canyons and then it was a crash landing in the forest and then a completely open field with even less foliage and developed assets and characters. If anything it really seems like progress has gone backwards because they don't really know how they want the game to start or where it will go.

The sandbox has been the sole focus of this game for basically its entire life span. It's actually pretty smart in a way if you think about it from a business perspective. You make a ton of characters that COULD be featured in the game and will likely be in the game if it ever happens, but instead you captivate people with these characters and smooth animations that look great to draw in an audience, and then do nothing with them. If anything because its a sandbox you end up making the players do all the work. The community has done an interesting job making their own maps and such using the tools given to them that some of those maps with the most effort are just simply enjoyable to stroll around in and see what people did. A giant slaver ship, a huge hotel, a small village, all populated by various characters getting it on. If anything Wild Life would probably be best if it dropped the gameplay aspect and they just spent more time developing the sandbox and its tools to support the players because thats all it has going for it.

The animations are great, the models are wonderful, the game barely exists at all, and the sandbox is a fucking mess. That basically sums up this game. The file size is so fucking huge too because of these decisions that it's like playing Breath Of The Wild/Tears of the Kingdom or even Skyrim but then you remove all the villages and NPCs and such and are left with this giant barren map with literally no content at all and are told "just press T and summon whatever you want" and it's basically been that way since 2017 and continues to be that way with no real hint that the game is ever going to really develop.

TL;DR: Game has barely moved an inch in many, many years, top quality animations and decent customization bogged down by a lack of everything else.

+ Probably the best flying in any videogame I have experienced, very entertaining to simply take to the skies
+ Arguably some of the best graphics in any adult game
+ Animation physics are top notch
+ Decent variety of animations
+ Good customization (Though the hair options suck ass at the moment)

- Barren wasteland when it comes to actual content, 'story' mode is half-baked and forces you to play as some guy named Max, boring and lacking in any meaningful content. Sandbox mode is filled to the brim with placeholder assets, has no save feature, and generally is just an animation viewer more than anything
- For some reason they've removed the old assets which included a complete village with NPCs scattered around, and the assets for that village are probably locked away behind the sandbox editor, your sandbox options currently are: A barren rocky desert OR a low-poly beach with some texture-less models scattered about. Unless you're looking to mod in some sandbox environments, you're shit outta luck when it comes to having a decent backdrop for your animation viewing (Not like there is anything else to do in this 'game')
- Some of the VA is painful to listen to, would rather have nothing instead
- Really not much to do besides view animations and customize a bunch of characters

I can't believe the sandbox mode hasn't gotten a save system in so many years, crazy to think they've just been adding animations for the past few years instead of padding out the game with actual content, not like there are that many more animations compared to a couple of years ago, anyway. Honestly worth a shot to view the animations you like then delete and forget, the devs are clearly enjoying the Patreon dosh too much to even consider finishing this game.

This game is seriously next-level stuff. I mean, The graphics? Oh man, they're just stunning. And the way the animations flow so seamlessly, it's like watching a movie, but you're actually in it.

What really blows my mind is the sheer variety of animations and character interactions. You can mix and match them in so many ways, it's like there's no end to the possibilities. And let's talk about the playground feature – being able to set up scenes with any number of characters and objects? It's like being a director in your own little virtual world.

But what really sets this game apart is the community. People are getting super creative with the custom maps, creating all sorts of, well, let's just say XXX experiences that you won't find anywhere else. It's like a whole new level of gaming, and I can't see anything else matching it for a long time.
