The closest porn game that most
programmatically resembles Wild Life Sandbox is

they have an edit mode and a play mode, but they keep it separated to avoid VRAM issues; a concept unknown to the Wild Life devs due to their massive inexperience with Unreal Engine; they think having an edit mode and play mode in the same instance is a good idea, sadly it is not, but I commend them for trying it; of course if they call it a SCENE VIEWER instead of a Sandbox, then it would be acceptable. However, it isn't easy to distinguish the similarities between 3dxchat and Wild Life Sandbox unless you live & breathe OOP (object orientated programming). Example: The way 3DXchat handles furniture is extremely intuitive and I strongly recommend Wild Life devs copy that system; since Wild Life Sandbox still bakes furniture into the sex animation after all these years.
Then you have games like
Sexvilla; that has a pirated version called
TK17. I would love to somehow hack Wild Life Sandbox and turn it into a similar pirated product like TK17. The Sexvilla devs have no clue what they're doing and they're greedy as hell, it's similar to Wild Life in that the wild life devs are not greedy, but they don't have the experience needed to make a porn sandbox; since they refuse to study porn game competition; they think they know everything. But if we had access to the source code, we could add all the features we need.
Then you have
Honey Select, Koikatsu, and VAM like you said; all designed by competent developers who actually know very clearly what they're doing. All these software's were designed properly, the devs most likely embraced capitalism by studying porn game competition, created a design diagram detailing how the software will be built from beginning to end, so mistakes can be made IN the diagram without having to program anything first which saves massive time, they thought of the theory first, the design. Wild Life devs are just winging it with the sandbox, it's very clear the lead dev has NO IDEA what he's doing. Example, instead of fixing the first person camera from spawning inside a character's head, the dev will spend months creating a LUA system from scratch, even though it only takes 2 minutes to fix the camera spawning in the head issue; that screams junior level developer, lol.
I don't want to come off as negative nancy. So to pay Wild Life a compliment, I think Steve & his team know exactly what they're doing with the Single Player, their approach to single player is highly professional, but the sandbox is just garbage, lol. The animations, character models, and Steve's writing are superior, the UE4 single player demo was brilliant. These are Wild Life's strengths, while their biggest weakness is the Sandbox; unless they call it a SCENE VIEWER, then we won't get our hopes up anymore expecting normal basic gameplay in the sandbox.
It irks me that the Add Pose character can't even walk. You'd think with how long they've been programming Unreal Engine, they could figure out how to make the character walk, it's like the first thing you learn in Unreal Engine, lol.
Yup, I'm waiting a bit longer on VR technology. But yea, I'm looking forward to VAM. I think they're migrating to Genesis 8? I was gonna wait on that. I was hoping Wild Life would put a little bit more love into their VR setup, but it's understandable why they don't; too much on their plate.
