They'll probably work on the story when they're satisfied with their animation bank, or that's what I imagine. I wonder what their patreons are after - whether they're happy with the animations for sandbox, or really want the story? I feel like if the patreons were really after the story they'd have made it more of a priority.
Personally I'm not really into the story as it is thus far because you can only play as Max, who's my least favorite character - I'd like to have the choice to play as Maya. Also, at least sandbox allows you the freedom to try out different couplings, which suits a lot more tastes, so that's an upside.

Sandbox getting better and better, I really prefer the fact they updated sandbox instead of the story, probably its only me but I never cared for the story in this game.
Idea for future update, they have to fix some of the hair in my opinion, some character's hair you can see the scalp of their head lol.
Also poor Max based characters, they dont have decent hair, one hair at best and unfortunately you cant change the color of Max's default hair (which in my opinion its the decent one I said).
Also I really love and appreciate devs for doing their best in this game, unreal engine games are not easy, not to mention how hard is to find decent ones. Stay healthy everyone.

.For anyone wondering, we are working on the story right now. But its a very complicated and detailed giant to tackle and has several of our devs working on it with focus. Our other devs are working on making the new sandbox be the best experience possible so that everyone has something nice to play with while the story and quests and main game world are being developed over the coming months.
Max and Maya will both be the protagonists, you begin the game with Max, at a certain point in the story (after not too much playtime) you unlock Maya and get to play as her too starting from then. Remember this is an open world RPG and the main story is only a fraction of the entire envisioned playtime. All the sex scenes are side-content and wont be forced on you (the player) so you dont get thrown off by having to do a sex encounter while playing the protagonist you arent that interested in.
PS: we made a new intro video for the sandbox that is up-to date and much shorter as it covers the most relevant basics rather than tons of individual settings of single sandbox props.

Can you spend some time optimising the game too? I have a good PC but everytime I run the game it sounds like I'm burning something.

There's a vertical slice demo with voiced dialogue, combat and sex minigames, and each patch adds more to it.
Also, criticizing a porn game for having too much porn is a little silly.

Its just an animator viewer. At least thats how I use it. Go to the sandbox and watch a few animations then Im done. They say they want to implement a story but I dont really expect anything on that front.

Hmmm i mean a good story is a good story that can be nice to build up characters relations and give those poses a nice immersion , but i also agree that the new Sandbox custom stuff to place arround its very very noice , but i think it could be even better with pre-built structures idk like the ones on the kerpal or fisher village or even give the player City or house option to create and save those , since its not story related we could have houses cities etc right ? to just build stuff like on sims lmao also placing stuff on a blank room its less lag or fps drops so i enjoy that and i guess lots of ppl with not high end Pc's do too
