Yeah but thats the thing they are not Japanese, and Steam being an American company will have a much easier time with the German law. I don't think its worth getting a law suit over.Massive oof. I guess that explains why the Kerpali characters are getting less and less content. I honestly don't know why they're worried about Steam being angry about that though. Japanese H-games have stuff that's far sketchier than anthropomorphic characters having sex with human ones, and Steam doesn't seem to care. If anything, Patreon would be more likely to take issue with that kind of thing (although I'm sure the million a year AdeptusSteve pulls in goes a long way toward offering them leniency).
Do I even need to state how wrong this is?Don't download AV software (seriously, Windows Defender is fine).
Yup, as I state in the post already.or just use your brain and download from a reputable source
All you need is common sense and the AV that comes with the OS. What exactly is wrong with what I'm saying? You are free to disable it if you're allowed to. Most if not all Linux distros allow you to do this (either you download the package or don't). As for Windows, perhaps a few obstacles here and there to disable it considering how invasive the software is and how much Microsoft pushes it onto users.Do I even need to state how wrong this is?
Unfortunately it's not that simple. HTML code can be injected with malware and even trusted websites can be compromised without you knowing it right off of the bat. Windows Defender does the barest of the bare minimum compared to any other service you can download when it comes to protecting you from threats. Common sense can only get you so far when you're going online, for example when stuff is hidden past GUIs.All you need is common sense and the AV that comes with the OS. This man is really bringing up FREEDOM OF SPEECH on a porn forum.Last time I checked, freedom of speech is still a human right and criticising a game as well as bringing valid arguments (what you seem to mistake for whining) is just as allowed on this forum as people praising what they find to be good in the game.
Sorry, but censoring people (unless they clearly misbehave and start throwing insults) is not gonna happen. Everything thus far has been well within the boundaries of this sites TOU, otherwise the mods would have already stepped in.
And in my book, a game that made around 6m $ USD and had 6 years to bake in the oven BUT is still nowhere near a presentable state (placeholders everywhere) with the devs even removing old features deserves some criticism.
If you like the game, good for you, I just personally think that more (paying) people should ask themselves "where the hell went all the money and the six years of development". You deserve better than what you got this far.
Cheers.
mullvad is undoubtedly the best vpn because (info for those who dont know) you dont use any identification when you create an account and you can pay with crypto, so even if they are compromised mullvad have no idea who you are. they are the only vpn like that that i know of.Brief Guide to Playing P-Games:
Step 1) Use Linux. A hardened one. I use Arch, which you can harden yourself, but most distros will be fine.
Step 2) Download QEMU, and install Windows on a VM. (focuses on performance instead of privacy/security; bare metal performance in some cases). The containerization is weak compared to Qubes and FreeBSD.
Step 3) Don't download AV software (seriously, Windows Defender is fine). Rule of thumb: Don't be dumb, don't click, download or run things you do not know anything about. If you absolutely need an AV, use Malwarebytes or Bitdefender as they have the most up-to-date definitions, and are usually the best when it comes to performance, or anything open-source. Reminder: you will have to abide to their privacy policies. Basically if you scan your computer, you will typically be given the usual UAC option (another way of consenting to software having a decent bit of control over your machine), and who knows what they will do with that scanned report. Most AV companies are not transparent enough, and some of them will outright tell you that they will sell your scanned data with all the identifiers included (Example of an identifier: Folder names, destinations, cookie folders, etc.). Best to encrypt important files before a scan, although I have on idea if that will change a thing considering the identifiers that they log. For Linux, they have plenty of great open-source options that also happen to have ports for Windows, so install that in your VM. (Check this site for more information:You must be registered to see the links)
Step 4) Use Mullvad VPN. Best VPN, hands down. If you don't want to pay, use Proton VPN. It's probably the only 'good' free VPN out there. Avoid Express VPN, Nord VPN, and Surfshark VPN. Any big name VPN providers that content creators shill. Those 3 are some of the worst.
Step 5) Use Librewolf, and download the usual extensions. Too many is too bad; it simply increases your attack surface. Just use what you need. Example: uBlock Origin, Decentraleyes, Privacy Badger, to name a few.
Step 6) Read up installation procedures on this thread. Self-explanatory.
Step 7) If a piece of software says that it can run on Linux, don't bother, just use this VM for you-know-what. Sure, Linux isn't as bloated as Windows, but please use this VM for the sake of utilizing software that requires a mostly high-end system to run bare metal, and that has a tad bit of containerization.
Enjoy a mostly sandboxed environment away from your host OS to indulge in your pervy desires!
Biggest reason why Nord sucks in particular is the breach in 2019. NordVPN had a data breach back in 2019 (breach occurred 19+ months ago!), though they only notified customers well after the breach occurred. This is pretty common, though. Many data breaches occur, but they are only discovered, days, weeks, or even months after the damage has already been done. However, in this breach, a number of encryption keys, Nord's very own encryption keys kept to maintain the integrity of the traffic from your connection to their DNS servers, and another key for their websites HTTPS link was stolen. Hackers can use those keys for various attacks, specifically to target individuals via MITM attacks, and anyone who visits the real website that has now been infected. On top of that, the hackers had root access, which to me is insane. It wasn't a social engineering attack, they hacked a remote server that employees use to log in for work. Clearly, if you aren't using the most secure, open-source software out there for remote connections, then I would have a hard time trusting you as a company in your ability to operate.mullvad is undoubtedly the best vpn because (info for those who dont know) you dont use any identification when you create an account and you can pay with crypto, so even if they are compromised mullvad have no idea who you are. they are the only vpn like that that i know of.
why dont you like nordvpn though? im only sus about them because they are a big company and that always brings corruption, but what in particular dont you like?
I feel like I'm going to have a mental breakdown trying to explain this so I'll just go the easy route.Ok, wait a minute. So, if i understand you correctly, this is how it should look like with a high end GPU, on max settings ? Because if so, than i stand corrected, it looks the same on my ROG Strix laptop as well...but i thought, with 20 fps, if i put the fans on turbo...but i thought, that this should look something else..better perhaps...no ?
Agree. As for me, it would be better to make a more advanced sandbox mode so that the community could make the game itself the way they like it. For example, I don't care about the history mode at allHonestly I'd be fine if this game was just a showroom that focused entirely on character creation and animations in similar way to Honey Select. That whole sandbox thing is stuck in development hell and switching to UE5 seems to set them back few years instead of actually improving anything. Why the hell some porn devs even think they can make an open world RPG when studios with hundreds more employee struggle with these.
I kinda agree, an open world game feels a bit too much in scope. Even big AAA studios usually can't deliver due to the massive amount of work needed to not make them a slogfest where you spend the majority of the time just walking through an empty field to go from point A to point B. Personally I feel a more linear approach with smaller locations (something like older 3D Zeldas maybe?) would've been better suited, less work required, better performance and less "downtime". I hope the devs know what they are doing and are not just doing an open world because it's trendy. Why the hell some porn devs even think they can make an open world RPG when studios with hundreds more employee struggle with these.
Considering that the entire appeal of this game is sex with anthropomorphic characters (hence the name Wild Life), I have a hard time believing that.IIRC Steve said something along the lines that the steam version won't feature anything lewd with the kerpali.
