Terribly inconsistent checkpoint system for the latest version's "campaign" / "demo" thing. Avoid rushing into the forest to the right of the beach and dying to the boss-wolf.

Wild Life Sandbox is turning out to be similar to 's Level Editor & Play Mode.

It's crucial that the Sandbox developer study 3dxchat's design patterns. This is not BS or ramblings from some random scrub off a forum. This is serious advice that could save a 1000 hours of developer time over the long term.

Yo. I have another question.
So I downloaded this the other day, I was pleasantly surprised, especially with the sand box and creating my own scenes and animations etc. Anyway the next day I got carried away and spent about 6 hours on it and I noticed before I turned it off that toward the end the textures had gone all weird. everything id done before hadn't been a problem and id seen basically everything without any issues. Now however it doesn't seem to take too long before it starts going shit looking. I'm playing on a laptop but its a pretty decent one and I've played a lot of what id expect to be a lot more labour intensive game without issue. This has begun to irritate me especially as its a game that kinda needs to look nice, would anyone care to hazard a guess at what the hell is going on and what I can do to prevent the textures from fucking up? It only started happening last night and its annoying me.

(also today it happened after only 30 mins or so and the world id built is a lot smaller that the ones I've seen online and tiny compared to the amount of props in the pre built worlds)

I do hope the new sandbox elements will give way to meaningful conditional interactions, as opposed to simple light switches. For example: pressing a button or standing at a particular spot will spawn a certain sex-eable character or pose in one area, or it'll prompt prototypes to move, etc.

The free spirit and “everybody welcome” attitude of Umbar attracts people from all over Kerpal, leading to a colorful mix of all Kerpali cultures. Self expression and individualism are highly valued here and many come to visit, eager to spend their pearls on the many pleasures this bustling city has to offer.
One major point concerning me buying this game's setting as believable and alive, there has to be realistic and valid opposition to Kerpal's very lax sex culture coming from both the natives and the humans. It's not worth throwing out any sense of authenticity from the game's world just to appeal to tired porn game tropes.

Hello everyone,
It is time for a new development update.
Level: We are currently focusing on the Umbar house tilesets, designing tile types and basic compatibility. We are also continuing our work on the Sky Village blockout. The freelancer working on textures and materials is making good progress as well.


Sandbox 2.0: Started work on an event system for props, sex scenes and poses. This allows a whole new dimension of flexibility for the sandbox, both in edit mode and in play mode.

Character: We made some smaller improvements on Vark’s model and rig. Starting next week our plan is to look into the female version based on Tali’s skeleton.
Animations: The Max x Tali minigame is done and this time it's also available for Maya ;)
Now we are doing patron-requests and sandbox animations.
Story: The setting and main story designs are done now. We will be sharing some lines about it over the coming weeks, starting today in a later post. This includes things like descriptions of the cities and camps on Kerpal, the factions, historical events and certain characters. Our next task is to work out all the quests, characters, dialogues and details of the gameplay.
Release: The next testing build version is planned to be released at the end of next week.
